I called for a leaking faucet in my shower and was quoted $480 to replace the shower cartridge. I asked how long it would take and they said less than an hour.I did more research and found the part at the hardware store for $50 and installed it myself in 40 minutes.I don’t understand how they came to $480 unless they charge $400 per hour. Something seriously wrong here.
