Reviews frequently mention quick call-backs and helpful troubleshooting over the phone before a visit. Many customers highlight timely service during cold snaps and heat waves, along with clear communication from office staff. Several note fair or reasonable invoices and technicians who explain options. A small number of reviews describe follow-up concerns after installation, suggesting results can vary by job.
Baumanns did an excellent job diagnosing and replacing our 24 yr old furnace. The technicians were very knowledgable and helpful while waiting for the new furnace to arrive. Installation was great and the new furnace is working perfectly. The office staff provides excellent customer service as well. Thank you!
We had a great experience with Jordie. Baumanns was communicative as we had issues during a cold snsp. Another company unfortunately did not get back to us.
Furnace quit and they called back right away and helped us troubleshoot over the phone. Didn't end up needing a housecall afterall but Kale still provided outstanding service! We will gladly call them when we do need anything HVAC related in the future. We will be recommending Baumann's going forward!
Client(me) reports an issue with the intake/exhaust for our HE Furnace. Furnace freezes every time we have strong winds. We live in AB, where its always windy. Here's where it gets interesting:Our furnace turns into an ice block anytime we have heavy winds. Like a literal ice block on the inside of it because they installed a straight intake pipe facing N on a rural property with nothing around it. So I call, usually they are very helpful. I essentially, get told that the straight opening into my house is normal and at most to install a 45 degree fitting on the end. Completely disregarding the statements about the prevailing winds going right down the pipe. This did not sit well with me as i know how strong the winds are where we live so i put a 90 degree fitting on there. Now, even with a 90, I wake up today to a house at 12 degrees. Furnace is full of snow again.Best part is, they're closed today and they wouldn't be able to make it here in this storm anyway. So now I'm out a 10k furnace that was installed a year ago, in the middle of a winter wind/snow storm.THANKS BAUMANNS
Amazing service! Had an air conditionar this summer during the heat wave go out and they came and got it all working. Then, of course, had issues with my furnance when it kicked in for the first time this fall and they were at my house the same day and went above and beyond! Both times my invoice was very reasonable. Can't recommend enough!
