We were fortunate to have hired Jost, of JWN Mechanical, to carry out the challenging job of replacing all the Poly-B pipes in our home. In addition he has now replumbed our ensuite bathroom, to accommodate a complete renovation. Jost was not only creative in his planning of the many tasks involved, but he was also professional and responsive to our needs. It was a pleasure to have him do the work. We most definitely would recommend Jost & JWN Mechanical to any homeowner who is requiring plumbing work.

We are extremely happy with Jost's work. He replaced the PolyB in our newly purchased rancher in Parksville. He was efficient, detailed, and very responsive. He's also very supportive of his industry colleagues. We are new to the area and he was quick to recommend other businesses that would assist us with our renovations. January 3, 2026 ??Fast Arrival and installation ??Quality Craftmanship ??Fair Pricing Our bathrooms are really tiny, so having the right size toilet really matters. We had a toilet in our furnace room that finally we decided to have installed. It was down there for years, as we called another plumber and he told us how to install it ourselves. Well, my husband finally decided to get it out, and we called Jost at JWM Mechanical, and he set a date for the next week, days before Christmas to get it done. Within an afternoon, a few hours because the flange was broken, it took longer but it was really a good job he did. It works perfectly, and it was a dual flusher we found out. So we also decided to replace our other 2 toilets which are in really tiny bathrooms, and I was really so glad Jost recommended to me to go to EMCO, and look at their selection of toilets, as I looked in Home Depot and Reno and didn’t find what I wanted. I chose the elongated compact one piece, which is so compact and really fits well in those tiny bathrooms, where we had the round front style before. They both were perfect. Jost also gave us a discount on the 2 toilets from EMCO. It actually gives us more space, we can actually open the cabinet drawers now for both bathrooms. And they both look really great. The downstairs toilet is really awesome, and elongated is especially needed, as well as the flushing is whisper quiet, and a different flushing system altogether. The old one ran on and on. So thanks for all your work you did, especially getting the one pieces fitting nicely around the hose line coming out of the floor and adjusting one of the hose lines out of the way slightly so I could install these type of toilets. We were referred to JWN Mechanical by DT Surfaces and are we ever glad we did. When we found a minor drip, on Christmas Eve, Jost responded right away and asked if he could come by on Christmas Day. We had plans and asked if he could come by at a later date. He asked about Boxing Day and we gladly said yes. He came on time and replaced the drain provided with the sink, with his own. When I asked about paying for the replacement part, he refused payment. WHEN DOES THIS EVER HAPPEN? This is outstanding customer service and we highly recommend JWN Mechanical for any plumbing needs.
