What customers say

Several customers praise prompt responses and friendly, capable technicians. One customer praised Jason’s methodical investigation of unusually high water bills and clear updates; another called the charges “way over the top” and said they felt pressured to replace a water heater after a flush did not stop its noises.

We appreciated the timely arrival, accurate assessment of the leak, and quick fix. Dom is a friendly technician that cares about his work. I highly recommend him if you have plumbing issues.

Had Jason Lance out to check on unusually high water bills. Jason methodically worked through every possible problem that might be causing the high bills. I will be receiving a forensic assessment which is exactly what I need for the city. Jason is thoroughly professional and kept me informed through each aspect of his investigation. I look forward to working with Powers Plumbing again in the future.

Powers Plumbing has a great reputation and they do good work, but they charge top dollar---way over the top. We first used them when we were in escrow a dozen years ago and inspection found plumbing issues. They were recommended by our realtor and the seller was paying so we didn't care about price. We called them again 7 years ago to install a water heater. The price seemed high but we felt we could trust their work. I called on them again recently to do a series of jobs: new shower fixtures, an outdoor spigot and leaky toilet... $873.00. We were told our pressure was much too high and we'd need a new valve (although they had replaced it when they did the water heater... $1200.00. Shortly afterwards, I noticed the water heater making noises. A google search indicated a flush and possibly anode rod replacement. Powers tech did the flush and it didn't stop the noises. He said the rod was so corroded it had come apart. He said we needed a new tank. He tried to sell us on a tankless heater but we weren't about to make that decision without doing some shopping around. We felt pressured to replace the tank or risk it failing before we could get another plumber. So we did, even though the cost was ridiculous... $3,827.56! (That included the charge for flush, which didn't work). That's $5,900 they've taken us for within the last month. It'll be the last $$$$ they get from us.

We had a malfunctioning Norwitz tankless hot water heater and both Jason (Cust. Svc) and Jordache (tech) were incredible. It was for an Airbnb above our garage and had guests arriving the next day. Jordache went above and beyond in problem solving with the manufacture the issue late into the day. He got it fixed, saved me money and was super nice & helpful throughout the fix! I won't use anyone but Powers Plumbing from now on! Highly recommend!

Wow came to the rescue. Another plumber broke a part in the shower replacing the cartridge and he couldn’t fix it. I called Power Plumbing and they sent out the most fantastic plumber I have meet. He did a super job and so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. They came out fast when I explained we were in a high rise and water had been shut off all day. Took his time and made sure everything was perfect before he left. They will be my go to plumbers if I ever need help again??
