The first person representing Roto Rooter unexpectedly arrived prior to the plumber and using scare tactics recommended having their crew open the ceiling to prevent further damage. It took a minutes of communicating that I would have a builder friend provide consul before he finally left only after he suggested my decision was not the best.

The plumber who arrived within 30 later was professional and targeted the leak as the connection of line not having been welded. I was disappointed to learn that when a blow torch was used the required cost is $500.00 due to insurance concerns and possible implications.

The connection was corrected and no leak detected. Work was done neat and professionally.

Unfortunately, the toilet tank had a very small leak later in the day. The plumber prioritize follow up for repairing the slow leak and made this his first call of the day.

I will use Roto Rooter again based on the actual plumber. However, the other representative from the company is not a good steward for the company.

Horrendous all around. They pretend to follow up with you after a poor experience (being ripped off and not even solving the problem), and then go silent when they say they’ll be back in touch by a specific time.

I would leave zero stars if I could. I was charged over $600 for ~30 minutes of work. To make matters worse, the issue that was allegedly “solved” is now back less than 72 hours after Roto-Rooter’s handiwork. I will now have to find someone else to actually fix the problem.

Update: don’t let them fool you with their customer service team pretending that they care. Their shady billing practices and lack of accountability are laughable. Anyone who even considers using this company - do yourself a favor and call anyone else. You’ll save yourself hundreds of dollars and actually get a competent plumber who can fix an issue.

A great young man named Caleb Bergeron (I hope I spelled that right.) He was fantastic, forthright and very friendly. His employee id was 348 if I am reading this invoice correctly. It’s great to see a young man in a trade that he’s both skilled and passionate about. I really appreciated his service and conversation. Root rooter is lucky to have him as an employee. I had an excellent experience with Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup, especially working with Mike. I was dealing with multiple leaks, and he handled everything quickly, professionally, and thoroughly.

Mike was knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to explain what was happening and how he was fixing it. He made a stressful situation feel manageable and left everything clean once the job was done. Most importantly — all my leaks are completely fixed!

If you’re looking for reliable plumbing service and someone who truly knows what they’re doing, I highly recommend asking for Mike. Great service from start to finish!
