Customer feedback frequently mentions technicians who communicate clearly, explain parts and next steps, and complete work efficiently. Several reviews highlight positive experiences with faucet replacements and general repairs. There are also critical reviews citing concerns about pricing clarity, scheduling follow-through, and deposits/refunds. Overall ratings trend positive with noted room for improvement in upfront estimates and timeliness.

They charged $350 to do an inspection which consisted of finding the septic tank cap, dug the lid up, and told me it was full. In total, less than an hours worth of work. No technical inspection of the pipes as requested to see if something was wrong with the internal plumbing. Would not recommend.

Ryan and Trent gave outstanding service to where their attention to detail was uncanny. As well as they handled the job in a timely manner. They both kept me informed of the progression and what parts were being used and why. And finished up with saying that if I had any questions don't hesitate to call. I would recommend Ryan and Trent to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

This was one of the most stressful and sketchy service experiences we’ve ever had.

We found this company because it advertised a free dispatch credit for new homeowners.

The technician came out to locate a gas leak and initially quoted $1,500 just to find the leak, not including any repair. After negotiating with my husband, he lowered it to $600, again only to locate the leak. He also told us we could do a payment plan and only pay $250 that evening, which is the only reason we agreed to move forward.

While my husband was on the phone with me explaining everything, he signed under stress without having time to properly process the cost. Before the technician even started any work while he was by his truck we asked if we could cancel the service. He said that because he already had a tool on the meter, removing it would still cost $300, even though he hadn’t located the leak yet. At that point, with our gas already shut off for two days, we felt forced to continue.

To make matters worse, he didn’t even have all the tools needed to properly find the gas leak and had to borrow a pump we had in our home because he didn’t have one with him.

He eventually found the leak and said it was a valve on the furnace that needed to be replaced. He couldn’t fix it that night because he “didn’t have the part” and said the store was closed, but offered to come back the next day. He then told us the repair would be over $900, not including an additional $200 inspection fee, claiming he “knew the inspector and could call him.” However, the night we found out there was a leak, Atmos told us the inspection would only cost $100, which made the situation feel even more questionable.

When we told him we wanted to call around for another quote, he suddenly said we had to pay the full $600 before he would leave, despite previously offering a payment plan and stating we only needed to pay $250 that evening. The payment plan was completely taken off the table without warning.

We had just moved in the week prior, Christmas is right around the corner, and this entire experience felt incredibly pressured, misleading, and unprofessional. We felt taken advantage of during a very stressful situation.

I would never recommend this company and strongly suggest getting multiple quotes before using them.

This was the correct business — it was Reliant Plumbing’s Temple location. You have more than one location, which may be part of the internal confusion, but there is no mistake on our end.

After posting this review, I did reach out to management. The first time I called, the woman who answered the phone spent time asking me to explain the situation, but ultimately said she couldn’t speak to anything because she “doesn’t know the plumbing side of the business.” Two days later, management contacted us, but the conversation was not to understand or resolve the issue — it was argumentative and dismissive.

Management focused almost entirely on denying our experience rather than addressing it. They specifically disputed the fact that the technician borrowed our personal tire pump, claiming they contacted the technician weeks later and had him send a photo of a pump to “prove” he had one. That does not change what happened in our home that night. We had no reason to fabricate something like this — we didn’t even know a bike/tire pump could be used to help locate a gas leak until your technician asked to borrow ours.

At no point did we receive an apology, acknowledgment, or accountability for:
•    The extreme pressure to proceed
•    The changing pricing and payment terms
•    The lack of proper tools on-site
•    Or the unprofessional conduct throughout the visit

Instead, the only outcome management pushed for was for us to remove this review, which we will not do.

This review remains because it is an honest account of our experience and is intended as a warning to other residents. Based on how this situation was handled both during the service call and afterward, we stand by everything stated above.

This company took the deposit money, had a hole dugout, came out twice, then rescheduled a couple of times without ever showing up or calling. When I asked for the money back, I was told I had to wait for a call also the refund will take 3-4 weeks. That is unacceptable and reflects very poor customer service.
