Two words. Absolutely incredible. Me and my family were in a massive pickle to get our pool operational for the season because our system not only old but it was ravaged due to the severe winter weather among other factors. Apart of me was beginning to lose hope that we would never get it open. However, Coastal Pools like the Supermen they were came to the rescue. They repaired all the damage in just the span of three hours and unlike other companies they actually came on time and did the work accordingly. No fuss, no complaints, no whining they just got it done. They earned every last dollar. Words can’t describe how eternally grateful we are for their work and we hope to continue a professional relationship with them in the future. From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my family thank you Coastal Pools.

We moved into the area within the past year and needed pool cleaning services, so we used Coastal Pools. While the service itself is good when you finally receive it, the communication and professionalism from the office were disappointing.

Despite signing our contract in early May, we had difficulty getting to the office during business hours to provide the first payment due to our demanding schedules. By the time we paid, we were told they still couldn’t open our pool for another two weeks (in total a month later) due to lack of staff availability. This meant we paid for the entire month of May yet received no services at all.

When I asked if our contract could be adjusted to reflect the actual start date of services, the office staff flatly refused. The person I spoke with was not only rigid in her response but also unprofessional in tone, telling me it was essentially our fault and offering no solution. As a new customer, that left a bad impression and I do not trust them to provide any more services for us.

The on-site service team seemed competent, but the lack of flexibility, poor communication, and dismissive attitude from the office outweighed that. We cannot recommend Coastal Pools and plan to take our business elsewhere.

I have used this company for years. Always good service ( not great). In 2022 they closed my pool and never cleaned the filter, when I made them aware of this, in June of 2023, they offered me no compensation, to be fare I did not ask for any as I had already cleaned the filters myself.
In fall of 2024 when they closed my pool they did not clean the filter again. This time I called them right away and told them to just do it in the spring. In May oy 2024 they came back and cleaned the filter, after I reminded them of our conversation in the fall. They sent me a bill for $50.00 for a return call. They store is les than 2 miles from my house. the will not cancel the bill. To day I will write them a check BUT never use them again for anything.

I rarely write reviews. This was really bad service. Every year I have Coastal close my pool. The pool was functioning fine prior to closure. Last year's closure was catastrophic. The workers damage and exposed the wires that lead to 2 actuator values. This year (2024) when I turned on the pool the 2 values were not functioning and the fuse in my central control blew out. Long story short- replaced the values, replaced the fuse, ultimately replaced the board. Be very careful here.

Called in February to make sure my pool would be open for end of May. They came in first week in May - they could not tell me the time they would be coming on the day before my appointment. They came 4:30 pm on Friday. I pipe that they installed shot off. I had to make another service call. They came and fixed that (on a Friday) big $$$$, but then service person said he would come and install board for my heater on Tuesday (second week of May). I came to my shore house last week in May - found they never came to fix my heater, so I had to make another appointment. Said they would come on Friday before Memorial Day. I called late in the afternoon to see where they were. I was told they were in Margate (I am in Brigantine) and they were on the way. They never came. They used to be very good. Last two years service has been very poor.

Last year they were supposed to open my pool. My wife scheduled it, I was not here when they came. I came down the day after they opened my pool to turn on my filter and see that I had a leak. I know they opened my pool without turning on the pump because I was not at my locked house to turn on breaker (that is inside my house). I called to complain about the leak and was told that they turned on the filter and tested it. They were not able to because my house was locked. They basically said their best man was there to do the job, and basically called me a liar. I will be changing companies.

P.S. I'm guessing they are reading their reviews. An hour after I posted this, a service person (who was very nice and I liked) came out and fixed our heater.
