Prestige recently finished our pool. We picked Prestige because of their transparency in the planning stages. We worked with Toby, he was very open and honest about everything from the start. He answered all of our questions on cost breakdown and made sure we had a clear understanding of how the pool layout would look in our yard. He even came out to see the pool once it was finished. Working with Chris during the building phase was great. He is extremely knowledgeable about pools and the entire process. Our pool equipment layout is fantastic and looks amazing. Every employee we worked with was great and the entire process is like a well oiled machine. We are very happy with the way the pool turned out. I am confident Prestige will stand behind their product for the long haul.

My initial review was 1 star due to significant issues, but after those were addressed during a follow-up visit, I moved it to a 2. I feel it's important to share that I was strongly encouraged to remove that first review. I'm now at three stars because the final workmanship and customer service have proven to be acceptable. It is not a bad business. There initial performance was substandard, though they did eventually address the issues after I pointed them out. In my opinion workmanship should be at its best initially. A business should not wait to be called out for poor quality results. But more significant a business should not call themself a 5 star business if they have all the lesser reviews removed.

33 days and counting for outdoor kitchen consisting of a sink, several drawer accessories and cabinet doors. extremely poor communication, Chris the project manager doesn't return my calls and no update on progress, doesn't check on the workers. It failed city inspection and he refuse to handle the issues ("I didn't request them to look at those things"). Potential Methane gas leaking back through drain, no weep holes in the brick, gas line at difficult angle, no caulking, and take a look at the photo (the sink plumbing is held up by a pvc pipe and block of wood in attempt to keep the angle correct.

Years of Broken Promises, Unresolved Warranty Work, and Zero Accountability

We had our pool and hot tub built by Prestige Pool and Patio, and while we had high hopes, our experience since completion has been deeply frustrating and disappointing.

The problems started immediately after the pool was finished in the summer of 2022. Prestige no-showed a morning appointment that I had taken time off work to attend, and a final walkthrough was never completed. That set the tone for everything that followed.

The most persistent and infuriating issue has been the hot tub tile. As early as May 2023, I called Prestige to report that tiles were missing from the hot tub, leaving sharp, glass-like edges. We know this because a guest cut herself getting out of the hot tub. Prestige eventually acknowledged, in their own words, that the cement used for the tile was not suitable for wet environments, which caused the tiles to fall off. That is a workmanship defect. That is a warranty issue.

The photos tell the full story. You can see the mesh netting left completely intact on the wall after tiles fall off. In a correct installation, mortar is pressed through the mesh and bonds directly to the back of each tile. Here, the mortar bonded only to the mesh and never contacted the tile backs at all, meaning the tiles were never truly adhered to the surface. When we collected the fallen tiles, the backs were smooth as glass. One tile showed partial residue covering a small fraction of the surface, well below the 80 to 95 percent coverage required by industry standard for a wet environment installation. This is not wear and tear. These tiles were never properly installed.

And yet, more than two years after the first documented report, it still has not been fixed.

Over those two-plus years, I documented everything in writing:

August 2023: emailed about missing tiles, broken lights, and a drain that has never worked since installation

October 2023: followed up again on all three issues, still unresolved

August 2024: sent a formal written notice listing multiple ongoing warranty items, including the tiles, non-functioning pool LEDs, a drainage problem that creates a mosquito breeding ground, and a broken floor system actuator

After all of that, Prestige's response in June 2025 was to send two cost estimates for the tile repair, the very repair their own team confirmed was caused by improper materials. We were left to choose which option we wanted to pay for, on work that should have been covered under warranty.

Throughout this entire process we dealt with multiple people at Prestige, including customer service, their warranty department, their HR department, and various project managers. No one ever took ownership or followed through. Promises were made during service visits and on phone calls, and nothing was ever resolved.

If you are considering Prestige Pool and Patio, please go in with eyes open. Their sales experience may be smooth, but post-build follow-through is nonexistent. When something goes wrong, and with a pool something will, do not expect them to stand behind their work.
