So VERY pleased with the entire experience! Long read here, but here goes. Our old plaster pool system was at end of life and was becoming an expensive, time consuming nuisance. When we began researching options for what to consider we had no idea what would be practical, or affordable. 3 quotes later, the choice was crystal clear (you know, like the water in the pool). Barefoot Pools excelled from first visit to project completion. The level of detail, clarity, communication and professionalism was unmatched. After signing a contract of this size, there’s always the uncertainty/hope of how, or if, it will be honored and fulfilled. In today’s economy and culture, there are often disappointments and unmet expectations, yes? This is a LOT of money for us. We couldn’t afford to get it wrong! Let me tell you right now, our hopes were not only met, but exceeded every step of the way. Seriously…exceeded. Every question was answered honestly and promptly. Every stage of the process was on time, efficient, and the work area was kept clean (as much as a big dirty job like this can be) at the end of day. Every crew was respectful of our property, and our neighbors so as not to cause undue parking problems. These guys work hard, and work well, and in the Phoenix heat, I commend them. Communication was prevalent all along the way with phone calls, email and text. We were kept in the loop by each team member as what to expect next, and when. There were no surprises. A couple of times, a minor adjustment to scheduling was necessary, and communicated, but with a project spanning multiple weeks, multiple crews, and weather, well expected. We are grateful for each and every person involved in this beautiful new pool. Specifically, I must make mention of those I met personally, each of whom played an integral role in not only WHAT we received, but HOW it was received. Sincere thankfulness and gratitude to Chad, Shawn, Zach, Juan and Jose. Certainly, there are more, so my apologies if I missed anyone.
So there you have it. We couldn’t be happier. 10 stars on a 5 star scale. I told you it was a long read. If you stayed through it all, I hope this helps.

We used Barefoot Pools to resurface our pool and deck, as well as replace the filter/manifold/light. We had a very good experience. They were professional, timely, and provided good communication. Chad was thorough with his estimates and follow-up, and did a great job helping us pick colors/materials/etc. He provided excellent education and instructions in appropriate maintenance of the pool. Shawn did a fantastic job with coordinating everything and being the go-to person for communications. He went above and beyond with a couple of small things, and was responsive and patient to any concerns I had in the process without being dismissive. Richard did a great job with the start-up process and other duties. I don't recall all the other names, but the chip-out crew was hard-working and efficient, as well as the surfacing crew. Their pricing was competitive and appropriate for the services provided. I recommend this company.

I Had the Barefoot pools team come out and quote a pool remodel with a hand rail install and new pump too.
They removed the pop ups as I wanted and re-plumbed new returns and new vacuum line. They also replaced the skimmer basket complete assembly and pressure tested the plumbing.
They also replaced the cap tiles and water line tiles before spraying pebble sheen and finishing it.
New Led pool light as well.
I didn't have the deck redone right now because I still want to install synthetic grass.
Brandon came out for the estimate and also helped us pick out tiles amd hand rail and pump/filter.
Richard came next to drain the pool and then again to help repairs on substrate.
Shawn , project manager came next to check on the job and help me deal with any issues.
There were two things I was not pleased with during tile and skimmer install but Shawn got both of those taken care of for us.
He did good.
Juan did handrails and new pump filter install and I believe all the new plumbing.
And he also helped me get my app set up for the light and the pump.
Pretty slick .
That was a bit of a project but went great.

And Zac came for final inspection and help with start up.
Everyone that came was professional and friendly.
Everyone was on time when they said they would be there.
I would recommend Barefoot Pools to anyone looking for pool repair or landscaping .
They did a neighbors whole yard and it was great.
I didn't have funds for an entire yard , but the pool and equipment are good to go now.

Chad, Shawn, Zach, Richard all did such an amazing job resurfacing my pool and replacing the tile. Shawn answered my questions immediatley and kept me update on the progress. Chad did a great job walking me through to get the equipment going and how to care for my new re-imagined pool. They replaced all of my equipment a few years ago which made my decision to use them to re-do my pool. They chipped out the old surface, removed the old dated glass block spillway and created a new gorgeous spillway.. The young man that did the spillway spent no less than 4 hours making sure each tile was perfectly laid.

I can't recommend them enough. They were efficient, and respected my property.

We recently redid our entire backyard, pool deck, pool inside, new turf, lighting, palm tree and a small golf green. Our experience was grade A. From choosing them and talking with the owner Jose, to Brandon who did the initial consult and gave us great ideas, to Shawn who was the project manager, Carlos who put in the golf green and Chad as the follow up we cannot say enough good things. The quote was up front and proper, we were kept abreast of daily activities on a timely manner and all work was done with great care. The professionalism all workers showed and the great care they took to accommodate a disgruntled neighbor was top notch. If you want a great experience, a caring owner, friendly respectful workers and a company takes does what it said it will do, then choose barefoot.
