Presidential Pools

By posting this review I hope to give the reader not only information on Presidential Pools but some insight on having an inground pool built. Here is our story. After deciding that we wanted to have a pool built I went to the internet and researched pool companies in Tucson, trying to find the best ones. I narrowed it down to six companies. (There were more that were equally good but they specialized in larger, more high end pools.) Anyway, the six I contacted were Presidential, Southern Arizona, Oasis, Omni, Zarate, and First Choice. I set up appointments with each one of them to come out and look at our yard and discuss it with us. I gave each one the same basic parameters- approx 30 x 16 in size, with a depth of 3 in the shallow and 5 in the deep end. Fair amount of decking around the pool, no heater. Pebble sheen plaster. (Like Pebble Tec, but the aggregate is smaller). So everyone had the same marching orders. Bill Butler with Presidential was the first one to come out and the first one to get back to us with a layout drawing of our backyard with the pool in it along with a price. I had an immediate gut reaction to Bill that he was someone we could trust and that they would do a good job for us. It took awhile to gather all of the bids and alas, two companies just blew us off and never returned calls or got back to us with pricing. I'm not sure why that was, maybe the job wasn't big enough for them? Anyway, Omni and First Choice were the ones that ignored us, despite coming out and promising they would get back to us right away with pricing. So now it was down to four companies. Presidential and Oasis were pretty close in price, the Southern Arizona and then Zarate. So we compared apples and apples with Presidential and Oasis and we went with Presidential because although their bids were close to each other, we felt most comfortable with Bill Butler. So we signed a contract with Presidential and gave them a deposit. They said it would take about a month to get permits and whatnot and that is about what it took. After the permit was issued we then met with Heather, the project manager with Presidential. She explained to us in detail what the process would be from start to finish. Much like with Bill, we felt comfortable with Heather right from the start. I am a big believer in communication and Heather was great at that, always letting us know when crews were going to be showing up and what was going to happen next, etc. Anyway, after the month or so wait for permits, our project got underway. From the day they began excavation until the day we were swimming the total elapsed time was six and a half weeks! After completion they had a tech come out and do all of the equipment start up, chemicals, etc., and then a couple of days after that they had a tech come out and show us how to run everything and take care of our pool. And while our backyard is still under construction (by us, see pictures), our pool is complete and myself and our family are enjoying it to the fullest! Presidential Pools was absolutely great and this entire experience was painless. They built a quality pool in a timely fashion for a price that fit our budget. Bill Butler, Heather, Callie and the rest of the office staff, well, they were all great to deal with and all are very good at their jobs. I can't say enough good things about having Presidential Pools build our pool for us, I would highly recommend them! Gary Hickey Tucson

My pool is beautiful and I couldn’t be more than happy with the results. From the design stage and the estimate stage was efficient and quick and I was provided all I needed to get prepared for a build. Tyler then came on the scene as the project manager with his team of Alex, Lauren and Walter that guided me through the process with clear concise and immediate communication. Tyler was ann expert project manager, and there was never a question I ever asked that didn’t get answered quickly, professionally, and with care about his Customer. This wasn’t an easy pool to put in because of the size of the yard and the entrance points with heavy big equipment, but they tackled it like it was no problem at all and did a great job. 11 years ago I put in a different pool in a different home and the Customer Service and the communication and the problems were awful. Do not go with anything less where a company that makes you a bunch of promises that they can’t keep. Even if the price may be different, I found that the stress of all those problems is horrible compared to the way Presidential handled every step of the process and I can honestly say I was not worried about anything they were doing because the communication was so good and the people like Tyler were so good at dealing with their customers and making sure everything that requested happened when it should. I would highly recommend that Presidential keep Tyler happy and on board. He knows how to deal with his customers. He’s excellent at it and he’s great on the project side as well. A good company that hires good people can’t go wrong but a good company that keeps good people will continue to be successful. I thank Alex, Lauren and Walter as well as Tyler for all the work that they did in helping me through this process. At the end of the build, and once the pool is filled, Walter came in and explained every detail of the equipment and how easy it is to operate everything through your phone. You also get not a bunch of paperwork, but all of the information and warranties and instructions digitally that you can refer to whenever you want and read it to your own leisure. Bottom line is I wouldn’t hesitate and II would definitely use Presidential again thank you all.

We love our new pool! The whole process was pretty seamless and it all came together so fast. The design process was so easy and smooth and Ryan was willing to make all our changes, making great recommendations and ensuring we got what we wanted. Anthony was great through the build process, communicating well and we appreciated his straight up approach. We are very happy with the process as a whole and are excited to be swimming all summer!

We had a great experience working with Presidential pools and, in particular, Larry Duffy and Gary Brooks. Larry did a great job working with me and partnering on the design of the pool we wanted to build. Gary was phenomenal as the construction manager. He constantly went above and beyond to ensure the construction and coordination with my other construction went smoothly and on time. His dedication to what he does is likely unmatched. I highly recommend Presidential pools and both Larry and Gary.

We absolutely love our pool! This was our first time building a pool, and Presidential Pools made the entire process incredibly easy and stress-free. Trevor, our salesperson, was amazing, he helped bring our vision to life, was patient throughout the design process, and truly nailed it. Gary, our project manager, and Monica, our construction coordinator, provided outstanding communication and explained every step along the way. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. Gary made sure everything was done correctly and on schedule, and we were beyond impressed that our pool was completed in just three weeks! We couldn’t be happier with the experience and the final result. Highly recommend Presidential Pools!
