They charge above average prices for a sub-par product, do not stand by their work and have horrible customer service.

I have tried to be patient and understanding through 4 years of issues, but at this point it feels irresponsible to not let others know about this organization’s workmanship and lack of values.

Our pool was installed in 2022. They started digging in February and tore out the electrical lines for our septic field, despite us providing property maps with major landmarks. Luckily I was home at the time and ran out asking them to stop when I saw electrical lines dragging behind their skid steer. They then proceeded to place large volumes of dirt on our neighbor's property and were slow to move it after receiving complaints.

We paid thousands of dollars for a digital design and renderings, only to find out after install that the pool did not match the files. The equipment pad was designed as a curved arc but they installed a basic square. The concrete near our deck was completely missing details. In areas which were marked as stone they tried to install mulch. The liner had wrinkles in it on the tanning ledge and steps and when asked they said there was nothing they could do about it.

Construction wrapped in July and weeks later they had to come back because a divot was forming near the bubbler due to improper settling. They blamed us for causing the issue.

Our heater, auto-fill, underwater color-changing lights, and now floor liner have all separately had problems in the first 4 years of use. Each time, Blue Water has denied responsibility even though they were clearly to blame. Everything from “improper winterization” (we were paying them to do it!) to cleaning (we were following their instructions!) to your warranty doesn’t cover it because your one year warranty is up. Wow. By the time they do get around to fixing it - days, sometimes weeks - their technician is apologizing to us because he knows the truth despite his leader’s lack of accountability.

Our pool floor is now collapsing and we are losing inches of water a day due to shoddy drain installation where they cut the liner too close to the edge of the gasket, causing a slow leak. Blue Water refuses to answer our phone calls or emails.

Our experience has been so bad it’s almost comical. Either we have a lemon, or this company knows nothing about installing and taking care of pools.

Be warned!! Use any other pool company, your wallet and sanity will thank you!

For the price, it wasn't up to our expectations, seeing other reviews along with pictures, plus mistakes were made, & having to have them come out to fix it, to which is good. Just shouldn't have had those issues to begin with.

EDIT/UPDATE 10/21/25

I did get a response from the Bluewater team in regards to my review. They have tried to resolve the issues we had. I will say that they do come back to correct the issues. For example the heater to the pool stopped working, but the maintenance man came out and resolved that issue. Another crew came out to see about the concrete that was broken around the posts to the pergola, and he did as best as he could to make it look better. Now the lights to the pool isn't working, I have sent an email about the red lights part not working and the man that fixed the heater says that it was hard to tell about the lights because it was daylight, but at night the red color doesn't work.
I do appreciate that they do respond to my emails and try to resolve the issues we have. It's just that this project was my mother's dream to enjoy her remaining days, and she's not totally satisfied, it was a very costly project & watching her seeing things that aren't to her expectations, I even explained to the man about the concrete, mostly aesthetic looks of the project.

It took some time to get our pool to look this beautiful, and we didn’t realize it was a filter issue for the longest time. Blue Water helped us get our pool to the most beautiful standards, even through my frustration filled words. It’s much appreciated, and it feels so nice to have our backyard be paradise again! Blue Water is one of the better and priciest options in town. They installed our pool in Spring 2021. Mostly because of Covid, the process was painfully slow but once we finally got started, the project manager, Mike W., was awesome and made the build easy to understand and fun.
Overall, we love our pool. It's beautiful and the team is professional and easy to work with. Highly recommended!
Edit: When we had a minor issue, Blue Water worked with us to remedy it and we couldn't be more satisfied. 5 star experience!

Absolutely amazing team! I have never owned a pool and they always take the extra time to answer all my questions and get back to me right away. Whenever we have an issue or concern, they are very quick to respond and address everything. I highly recommend Blue Water Pools! They treat you like a friend or family rather than a customer.
