We recently worked with Watercrest Pools to design and build a custom Spool (a combination of pool, spa, and water feature) and an elevated patio — and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish!

From our very first meeting, Greg Neppl and his team truly understood our vision. We had spent time sketching a design based on the Golden Ratio, with flowing, organic lines to complement our home and wooded surroundings. Greg took those sketches and turned them into a stunning 3D architectural plan that perfectly captured what we had envisioned.

The build process was smooth, efficient, and enjoyable. The entire crew was professional, courteous, and highly skilled. Brian Pucci, the onsite foreman, deserves special recognition — he was thoughtful, communicative, and meticulous throughout the project. His attention to detail and craftsmanship made a significant impact and kept the project on track from start to finish.

A special mention also goes to Mike Buckman, the master stone mason who built our six-foot custom stone retaining wall for the elevated patio. His precision and artistry were remarkable — the entire wall is perfectly level and beautifully finished, showcasing true craftsmanship in custom stonework.

We were also impressed by Watercrest’s ability to handle the city inspection process with professionalism and creativity. Their expertise and persistence ensured everything moved forward smoothly despite several challenging requirements.

Our new Spool and patio turned out even better than we imagined — elegant, functional, and seamlessly integrated with our outdoor living space. We highly recommend Watercrest Pools, Greg Neppl, and the entire team for anyone seeking exceptional pool design, quality construction, and masterful stonework.

Exceeded our expectations! Our pool was finished four months ago but I thought it would be worthwhile to wait until it was operating awhile before giving a review. This way I can speak to the project installation as well as the reliability of the equipment and the quality of Watercrest's service. Working with Watercrest was a really good experience from start to finish. Sam and his team have a well oiled design and selection process....makes it easy to connect the pool's design and content to your vision and budget. The construction process went remarkably smoothly. Our project manager, Brian, did a great job of coordinating the different crews needed to make our pool a reality. He communicated frequently and so we had very few surprises as the project came together. That is a major accomplishment by itself! If you haven't built a pool before, the project will run from 4 to 6 months, so you're spending a lot of time looking out of the window at construction when you just want to go swimming :-) Watercrest was excellent at navigating the inevitable delays of weather issues or supplier back orders to get us in the water as quickly as possible. They do enough pools so they are able to get things done when others not as large may get stuck. When they finished and turned the pool on AJ walked us through the equipment, scheduled "pool school" and made certain we could operate the pool directly or on our phones. Our only service issue was a dropped connection between the pool equipment and the Pentair mobile app. AJ got that squared away quickly. Otherwise, the pool has been "bullet proof", even during the most recent freeze. Overall, its easy to recommend Watercrest to you and to say they "exceeded our expectations!"

We had an absolutely awesome experience with Watercrest! We redid out pool and patio, adding a jacuzzi, firepit and outdoor kitchen. Even with all the rain in May, they were able to complete the job to useable status in time for my parents 60th anniversary party. The backyard is beautiful! From the design process with Greg, to the material selection with Fiorella, the actual crazy redo with Anthony and the finish work with AJ, we are extremely pleased and so glad we went with Watercrest! This was a big job and they came through on every request! The photos show a still in progress backyard, but we are almost done!
