It was a real pleasure working with Jeremy and his team. From the moment we met Jeremy and Jan, we knew we were in good hands. We had a few different contractors come in, some higher, some lower but chose to use Ultimate Pool Builders for a few different reasons. We had to do a lot of earthworks in the form of extending and building up our yard due to the slope of our property. Knowing that Jeremy, Owner of "Okanagan Yard Works", brought experience and knowledge for this portion of the build, made it an easy decision to use the same contractor for the yard prep and the pool build. Jeremy took the time to sit down with us, listen to what we wanted, look at our plans and then fine tune it and design it. We gave Jeremy and his guys a tight timeline, and no doubt I was not easy on him. We made some changes throughout the process and Jeremy stayed very professional and accommodating.In a project this size, there are always a few roadblocks and delays. Jeremy stayed true, very transparent and honest while explaining these, collaborating with us to come up with solutions to stay on track.His guys, Hunter and Grant were incredible. These guys went full speed all day, worked long hours and even the weekends to ensure the job was done on time. Daily, Hunter would give us an update on the progress, what to expect the following days. Hunter is definitely beyond his years and full of knowledge, experience in building pools.Would most definitely suggest Ultimate Pool and Spa and Okanagan Yard Works for your next project.
Earlier this year, we contacted Jeremy at Ultimate Pools among four others for quotations on pool installation. After a couple of preliminary meetings he was one of three quotes to come in and was not the lowest bid (close), but it was the most thorough and detailed. I noticed the language with some others was vague. We decided our best interest to go with Ultimate Pools even though they had not been around as long as others and had a tad pretentious name lol.Starting the dig and prep, Jeremy's crew is fantastic. We had Hunter show up and take charge immediately like a seasoned pro. Wise beyond his years, he anticipates and asks questions if he doesn't already know as well as explains what happened that day and what to expect.When installing a pool, one thing to know is that dates are planned, but dependent on weather, trades etc so this in mind, I was impressed with the level of accuracy of the timeline in spite of these conditions and if something was delayed, the level of communication to give not-so-good news.We ended up adding the auto cover (Highly recommended) and some additional concrete work for a large patio and it looks beautiful! Total timeline was two months which included re-sod of our lawn and other fixes. Glad to know these are the same guys who run Okanagan Yard Works which of course we recommend as well.In summary, it is a bit scary of a project and filled with emotional highs and lows but now, at the end of our first pool-owned summer, we have an incredible back yard oasis and many warm memories because of it.
