I recently had my 48 year old pool resurfaced. I chose Pinch a Penny lakeland north as I wanted someone who would be around to address any warrenty issues. I initially worked with Alex for the material and equipment selections then after the resurfacing, Leo helped me with getting the "water chemistry" correct, along with how to manage my new equipment.The communication and prompt service was some of the best I've ever had. Both gentlemen were very professional and stayed in contact with me through the entire process.I would highly recommend them for any pool project.Jim Bibby

I have been a customer for 7 years and am always impressed by the information and advice I have always been given. Prices are also reasonable. Recently, I was having an issue with air in the pool lines, which I thought would damage my pump, so I called my local store at 6140 U.S. 98 North in Lakeland, FL. Instead of just automatically telling me that I needed to call someone to come out and check my system, I was asked some troubleshooting questions and told to check some things. When I did, I discovered that the seal of my inline chlorinator was not seated properly. Once I did that, the problem was solved without my having to spend a lot of time and money. That has always been my experience with this store and its management. I highly recommend them.
We moved to North Lakeland in December of 2018 and Pinch-a-Penny has been our only pool service. They converted our pool from chlorine to saltwater and installed a beautiful pool railing. We also use their weekly pool maintenance service. In these 7.5 years here at this home, we've encountered several different pool technicians but our current one - David Mercado - stands out as the best. He is attentive to the pool conditions and how to correct them. He keeps a watchful eye for any mechanical issues, and he recently detected that the salt cell was leaking and needed replaced. After the replacement part was obtained, David had the new cell installed and working properly in mere minutes. David is pleasant, professional and a great reflection on Pinch-a-Penny Pool!
