FAMILY POOL SERVICE SERVICED OUR POOL.MY POOL WAS GREEN, AND I HAD A LEAKY PIPE. HE REPAIRED OUR PIPES, CLEARED THE WATER, AND CHARGED US $400.00. THE LAST STAGE OF CLEANING WAS DONE LATE EVENING TIL DARK. THE NEXT DAY, OUR POOL HAD YELLOW MUSTARD ALGAE THAT YOU GET WHEN DIRTY POOL TOOLS ARE USED OR THE POOL ISN'T SHOCKED PROPERLY. HE AGREED TO COME BACK, BUT HE LIED. HE DID NOT COME BACK TO FIX IT, AND WE SPENT AN ADDITIONAL $75.00 FOR SHOCK, BRUSHED THE POOL DOWN, AND CLEANED IT OURSELVES. SO IF YOU WANT A NICE GUY WITH DIRTY TOOLS TO CLEAN YOUR POOL AND LEAVE YOU WITH LIES, AND YELLOW MUSTARD ALGAE, CALL FAMILY POOL SERVICE
I have been using Family Pool service for a few years. He knows his stuff. His prices are affordable. I would recommend them to everyone.
This is one of the worst companies I have had . he is not dependable with scheduling appointments he don’t show up or answer phone calls or text and he left my pool nasty still green and a lot of leaves still in it and charged me 130. I told him he needed to come back out because he wasn’t done he did not answer my calls for a week until I asked for a refund . He Came out got the leaves out the pool but didn’t vacuum and charged me 130 again and said he would come out to finish Friday because I had a party planned for Saturday Memorial day weekend but he didn’t show up Friday he text me Monday saying his guys out side I told them to leave . I found someone better this not his 1st time doing me like this the pic is after he left my house saying he was done and charged me 130 the 1st time . He need to be sued .
My husband discovered Mr. Amani and his team earlier this summer; they are great at what they do. Last summer our pool was only clear for 1 month and we ended up canceling our pool techs. Family Pool Service, explained why it wouldn’t stay blue, fixed the issue, and has been servicing our pool ever since. He will be winterizing our pool this year and installing a safety cover. We will be using his services for years to come and recommend him to anyone needing a pool tech.
I reached out to the owner of this company on a Tuesday afternoon. He sent a technician to my house right away (which I was thankful for). The technician tested my water, vacuumed my pool, and added 4 pounds of shock. He told me that the water would no longer be green and cloudy tomorrow, but sparkling blue. The next day my little girl ran outside and saw the water was still green and cloudy. Her heart was broken. I texted the manager and said, "the water in my pool is still green and cloudy". He asked for a picture. I sent him 4 pictures of my water. He did not respond after that. I finally texted him again the next day and said, "hello??? what do I do about my pool??" He wrote back the following day and said, "I am so sorry, we were very busy yesterday. We will come out tomorrow and see what's going on."I haven't heard a word since. I have texted and called. No response. I would not recommend this company. They do not communicate and/or keep their word with response times. Now, I have to pay someone else to start from scratch because this company couldn't follow-up with me. I am so disappointed.
