Below is a listing of issues we’ve had since installation a couple summers ago.

Job - demo backyard and rebuild existing pool, install driveway and redo sidewalks.

Good - demo team great, project timeline start to finish very reasonable.

It is all functional, but it doesn’t look like it should.

Bad - driveway (not sealed correctly, excessive spalling, uneven color, stained at install), driveway (cuts at bottom of driveway messed up), pool finish (gunite - as streaky as streaky can be), pool concrete edges (never finished right from day one, Chameleon remedy was terrible looking epoxy and it took them 1.5 years to address), concrete stairs (edges already exposed - 2 years old), destroyed street curb and didn’t fix, the ‘master plumber’ setup plumbing to a clogged pipe and never checked its viability, could have easily replaced while everything was ripped up, now it backs up (paid extra for this!).

Here’s the deal with the spalling. Driveway installed and sealed by Chameleon in summer 2024. In spring of 2025, we noticed excessive spalling and discoloration. Took Bob months to address and he finally hired a third party to reseal it. There was no additional spalling by Spring of 2026. What does this mean? Chameleon didn’t seal the driveway properly after the install and now it looks terrible and it will erode faster than a properly sealed driveway.

There were many other concrete driveways installed in the neighborhood at the same time as ours; ours is the only one that looks like it was hit with a bomb. It clearly wasn’t sealed properly by Chameleon and they aren’t standing by their work and have refused to properly address the issue by replacing the garbage they installed.

They said we should get more car washes. Our cars go through the car wash in the winter on a regular basis. Their excuses are absurd.

Chameleon has had many opportunities to fix, but they’ve failed to own their own mistakes.

There was a total lack of attention to detail and there has been a complete failure to stand behind quality of work.

Biggest issue is the driveway, all issues combined show tremendous lack of attention to detail and mastery in craft.

I’d be cool if they worked to remedy. But they’ve been terrible to deal with after the fact. All the issues have caused me to become irate. This isn’t what we paid for.

I’d recommend going elsewhere if you want a company that stands behind its work.

I got a Chameleon Pool this summer and could not be happier. Bob and his crew were so easy to work with and they made our dream pool into a reality. We had our first grandchild this summer and we have become the family hub. The kids want to have every party in our backyard. If you’re thinking of getting a pool please, please do yourself a favor and get a Chameleon pool.

Chameleon Pools has been excellent since our pool was installed back in 2019. From design, negotiations, renderings, install, etc., we’ve only had one issue but their team quickly identified the problem and fixed it immediately, no questions asked, at no additional cost. The office staff is incredible. The renderings, ongoing support and service was and has been excellent.
