Alan Smith Pools completed an absolutely wonderful swimming pool retrofit and replaster to our 30+ year old pool and spa. The only frustration we had was in the permitting process as required by the City because we added a Baja deck (“structural change”).The various teams were professional and timely while the support team in the office provided email communication during every phase of the job. Our Project Manager John Palmieri was awesome as he keep us up-to-date with everything.The final product is exactly what we had envisioned (“dreamed”). We are thrilled and cannot wait to use the Baja deck and pool after the curing process.We were comfortable with the pricing as we competitively bid the job before awarding it to Alan Smith Pools.Definitely Five out of Five Stars!!!
Alan Smith was incredible. Highly recommend. They did our pebble tec and we are so happy! CJ that works with Alan Smith was very helpful in the whole process the best customer service! We did Aqua Essence Pebble Tec and CJ helped us decide on what color to use based on our landscape. The quality and detail on the job was top tier! We also felt the price was very competitively, priced and reasonable!
They are very professional and let you know all your options and the price. Of course, Alan Smith Pools are not the cheapest, but they have been in business since 1982 so I felt assured I would get quality work would not get ripped off or left with an unfinished project.I had bids from 2 other contractors and felt the burden of having to go to tile stores and pool finishing stores to pick out my tile and finishing on my own. Alan Smith Pools has a design store at their office with samples of finished Gemstone and tile. A design expert came out to help me with my questions.During the project there are many supervisors and a project manager watching the work and process.Overall, I had a great experience with Alan Smith Pools.

Our white pool plaster needed replacing after almost 20 years so we went with Alan Smith Pool Plastering. My Uncle had used them in 2018 and recommended them. He said they did very good work. I'm very happy I went with them as they did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them. They were priced very fair amongst the 6 or so quotes that I got.I was really impressed with all their employees work ethic. They all knew exactly what their tasks were and they completed them excellently. They were like a well oiled machine. I was surprised at all the work that went into removing the old plaster and replacing it. I did keep my old tiles as they were in good shape. They started within a day or two from when I decided to go with them. They kept me well informed via emails about the next days activities. My project manager, CJ, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and provided great advice on pool chemistry. He would responded quickly when I reached out to him with questions.I'm surprised at the negative reviews. This company has been around a long time and really knows what they're doing. I did have to sit back and relax as it is a process that takes some time and has a lot of moving parts that they manage well. They completed the work in the time frame they told me. I highly recommend Alan Smith Pool Plastering and Remodeling.
