My project consisted of pool remodel by enlarging and adding a spa. Job took 9 months to complete final inspection. There are still unfinished pieces and things to be completed. Contractor is no longer answering text or calls. What I thought was a decent price cost me more money and stress. Payment was always paid when requested. I had to do some parts like print out blueprints, take them to city. I made all follow ups to city as well to try and speed up the process. My contractor was Armando. Owner will claim he does not know him but they are brothers.
From start to finish Sergio was in charge of the project. He offered great ideas. He runs a very professional company. He stands by his work. It was great knowing that we did not have to worry about the project.
This is a longer review because I wanted to wait a full year before sharing my experience. I felt it was important to see how everything held up, and I believe this will help others in choosing the right contractor.I had my pool built by MBros with Sergio leading the project, and from the start he was professional, easy to work with, and offered helpful design suggestions. What impressed me most was the follow-through. Unlike many contractors who disappear after the job is done, Sergio stood by his work. When small issues came up over the year, like our pool lights going out or defective parts (fire bowls burners started to rust badly), etc. he and his brother came back, honored the warranty, and made sure everything was resolved.Yes, some parts took time to arrive, but Sergio followed through until the job was complete. He clearly takes pride in his work, cares about his customers' satisfaction, and gives me confidence that if something comes up in the future, I can count on him to help. My only advice for others is to keep communication clear and written so both sides stay on the same page.In a time when trustworthy contractors are hard to find, MBROS stands out as a company that values its customers, takes pride in their work, and makes things right when unexpected issues come up. I highly recommend them.
In our pool building process we decided to interview many different companies. In the end we went with Sergio because he genuinely seemed like a good person and someone we could trust. He worked hard to work with us to finalize our design, made sure our project stayed on schedule, and ultimately answered any questions we’ve had after construction was complete. We can’t recommend Sergio and MBros pools enough. Thanks for everything!
Sergio was amazing! His team he has in place starting with Holly (the designer) is bar none! The time line was so fast until we had to wait for something to set 30 days. Maybe it was two weeks but you can’t rush curing time.We absolutely love our little pool! We have a 25’ set back so we maxed out with what they had to work with. The colors, the tiles the “extra’s” other companies up charged was included. We love our pool, spa and baja shelf. Oh… when calling his references (7 of them I know but I wanted to make sure ?? ) each person spent about an hour on the phone with me. Giving all their details and how much they liked Sergio. It’s all true. He wants to make sure you’re happy before the project is done. You won’t be disappointed!Also all his employees who are doing the hard labor are very polite, respectful, and professional. Choose MBROS!!One more thing- we broke ground Aug 7 completed November 15, was in the spa Dec 15 (couldn’t turn the heater on for 30 days ) due to the pebble needing to cure
