These guys did a wonderful job. I see some negative reviews and don't understand how my pool can be so perfect, and the poor reviews so completely the reverse of what I received. Take into account that I'm a very picky customer, and if you read between the lines of the negative reviews, you'll see that those reviewers didn't actually have any work done, or they were neighbors or relatives of those that supposedly did (which also means they didn't have any work done). If you read my other reviews on Google, Trip Advisor, or Yelp, you'll see that I'm the one who actually had the experience.So much for the rant. Now back to reviewing.Start to finish, Bob's crew showed up when they said they would, blasted the old twenty-two-year-old plaster, and removed the old tiles. Five days went by while the new tiles were being shipped; then they came back, installed the new tiles, and pressure washed the plaster a final time and installed the bonding agent.The next day (day three of actual work) they sent a crew of six and installed the new Luna Quartz plaster, then started filling the pool.I did have to call them a second time initially to get a bid, but if you've ever worked with contractors, that's not uncommon. Apparently, the owner had been injured and took awhile to get back to bidding, so I understood completely. Besides, after the second call to Allie (I think that's her name) Bob came out the next day, gave me his bid, and the deal was done.Thanks, Bob and crew. We couldn't be happier with the results.P.s. we were lucky, in that we had a friend who had Blue Diamond do their pool several years before we were ready to have ours done. That recommendation helped us decide who got the bid, too.
I just had to write a review! Every time I go to my In-laws I am appalled at the sight of their patio. The texture coat decking Blue Diamond did is crumbling, the extension joints are coming out, and even the pool tiles are falling off!!! This company's work did not hold up!!!!! Very disappointed.!!!!
Blue Diamond Pools is a Total Professional Organization; Bob was on time from estimate to completion. Bob said what he'd do and he did what he said. Both his prep and plaster crews, are professional hard working craftsmen who know their trade. Our 32 y/o pool was in serious need of a new finish. It now is an amazing beautiful blue, and looks brand new. He also replaced the pool deck expansion joints. We will be converting our new pool to salt water, and we could not be happier. The ONLY problem you'll have is which color and finish to choose. Do yourself a favor and watch the Wet Edge videos that distinguish between the different products and colors.
So grateful for Bob. He communicated and was professional. When a mistake was made, he owned it and corrected it. Our pool was burnt in the Camp Fire and someone told us it was done. Bob gave me a quote and held to his word. Thanks Bob.
When our pool builder suggested using Blue Diamond for the finish work of our new pool I was a little skeptical after looking at their reviews. Our PB assured us that they do quality work and have great attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier! We didn’t wait very long at all to get on the schedule after being shuffled time after time with another local finish applicator. We love the Wet Edge Prism pebble we selected and are very happy with their work, so glad we ended up with this company and product!
