Outstanding customer service from Jeremy and Kylee! I reached out on a Sunday with a customer service question regarding a recurring order I have for filters. Since I am upgrading my spa, I wanted to cancel my current order. Within 12 hrs I had received an email that my request was being handled and within 24hrs the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. This stands out for the clear communication and help I received without any hassle. Kudos to you!!
With a recent OTA update, the wifi adapter on my spa failed. Called and talked to Gary, he ordered new hardware and scheduled me for repair. Fletcher came out, quickly did the replacement, helped me reconfigure the app on my phone, and spent time with me to answer unrelated questions. They have a good support operation. Happy with my Summit XL 5 years later. Thanks Arctic Spas team!
I’ve had a great experience working with this company from start to finish. John Nielson was fantastic on the sales side. He worked hard to find me the best hot tub within my budget, and I am very happy with my purchase.Brandon has been excellent with ongoing service. He is accountable, consistent, and truly cares about the condition of my hot tub. I don’t live at the property, but he takes care of it as if I do, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. His attention to detail and overall attitude really stand out, and having him maintain it has absolutely been worth the money.I highly recommend working with their company.
Overall, I’m happy with my Summit XL with the SDS system. The spa itself performs well, and most of the minor issues we experienced after installation were addressed quickly. When we called the dealer, the technician came out and fixed the problems within about a week, which I appreciated. The one ongoing issue has been a plastic coupler connection that occasionally loosens and causes water to slowly drain from the spa. The technician repaired it once, but the problem has reappeared a several times since then. Because the coupler is plastic, tightening it too much risks cracking it. The technician’s recommendation was simply to check it periodically and retighten as needed. As a result, I now have a reminder set on my phone every few weeks to check it, because if I miss it the spa can lose a significant amount of water. Rebalancing the salinity and pH afterward is neither quick nor inexpensive. My other concern relates to Arctic Spa’s product design choices. I had been planning to purchase a swim spa and was excited when Arctic announced a new 14-foot Polar Bear Turbo Swim Spa. However, when I looked closer at the home show, I found that all of the added length is actually taken up by the new “no-turbulence” swim current mechanics rather than additional swimming space.Another surprising design choice is that the controls are located inside the water near the intake area. Most swim spa manufacturers place their controls outside the water on the side so you can adjust settings before getting in and immediately begin training. Having the controls in the water seems less practical and makes quick adjustments more awkward.Overall, I still enjoy the Summit XL and appreciate the responsive service, but I hope Arctic continues refining some of these small reliability and design details, especially considering the premium price point of their products.
Arctic Spas is the very best. We have had multiple tubs, maintenance contracts, repairs and upgrades over the past 20 years. Christian Staples (Owner), Gary (service), Nicole (accounting and phones) and his family of Technicians are all great. Had the pleasure of meeting Fletcher Staples yesterday- new cover, ph sensor, valve gasket and overall tub inspection. He was in an out in less than 45 minutes and was very knowledgeable and thorough in getting the tub like new for a family party in a week. I would highly recommend Arctic Spas! Thank you Fletcher for making my day!!
