3 weeks ago had my hot tub (that I bought 1.5 years ago) drained, "cleaned" and refilled. After paying the $300 for them to do that, I was told to bring in the water for them to test to tell me the amount of chemicals to add (did not know I needed to this when I paid for the service). Just got back from their store for the 3rd time in 3 weeks as they continue to test. My water has been dirty since they did (woman even asked, did you clean the pipes when you did the drain and refill, I was like YOU did it) and has been after every time I go and listen to their instructions. Each time I have gone they have given me completely different instructions what to do (it has been different people each time, but I have the sheets they gave me) and upsell me some new chemical. Will probably be there in a week for a 4th time in last month when it is not clean and I still can't use it, for them to give me new instructions and look for another $80 for me to spend. I told them this was very frustrating and waste of time, they did not seem to care, because someone had just brought 3 dogs into the store which took their attention.
Great experience working with Rob and Nicole at Arvidson Palatine! It was our first time purchasing a hot tub - they were super knowledgeable about their product and provided awesome customer service after the sale. A month in we are extremely happy with the quality of the tub, the jet pressure and placement and led lights/waterfall feature are a fun add! Also impressed with the fresh (salt) water system - our skin isn’t irritated after daily soaks and we don’t miss the strong chlorine smell.
Yesterday my husband and I had a new cover and lift installed. When the installer, Jacob, arrived I talked with him about our dissatisfaction with our current lift that was purchased from a different company. He explained the types of lifts and actually had the one we wanted in his truck, so he was able to install it that day. Jacob was helpful, professional, and friendly. I couldn’t say enough about him and how happy we are with the lift. Also, when I went to purchase products at the store on Rand Road last week, an extremely helpful and pleasant young lady explained the right kind of products to purchase for our hot tub. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name, but she, along with Jacob, were 2 very knowledgeable employees. They are exemplary representatives of the Arvidson name.
