I am not a client just a victim of this company's negligence. PJs Pools and Concrete Pumping Services Inc ( same trucks for both) as carrying stones/gravel without any tarp and I received several dings on my windshield from them. The owner Pierre Lareau showed no remorse to the situation nor was inclined to start using tarp on his trucks. This incident has cost me a lot of stress and time. I am sure that I am not the only one that suffered from their negligence.
PJ poolsI have not received a response from the email sent on 6/13/2025 regarding the epoxy that was spilled on my auto cover and the broken tiles from your employees chiseling the old plaster,so could you please let me know how this is going to be handled. In regards to the pool repair that you have received over $20,000 dollars upfront for the repair and replastering of my pool over 2 months ago. My wife has sent many emails and phone calls with no response so either A) you can reply to her in a timely manner or B) you can deal with my attorney on this matter as I have no time for your games. 6/23/2025
The absolute worst! These guys "opened" my pool. PJ, the owner and an employee were on site.I had to spend two hours helping them because they couldn't figure out how to attach the railings and diving board.They didn't vacuum!They didn't even attempt to balance the chemistry.They didn't turn on the heater, unless you count pressing the on button. It was not working, and needed repairs which I wound up doing myself, they didn't bother to check it, at all.Worst of all, they failed to tighten the bolts on the diving board, and as a result one of my kid's friends got injured when the board went sideways.Stay away. Literally, anyone else is a better choice.
We had a vision of the kind of pool we wanted and PJ made it happen.I gave PJ and a few other pool installers a call. PJ came to my home and listened to my requirements. I got a good vibe from him. He mentioned that he runs a family business. His niece Megan runs the office and his son Joe manages their pool service operations. I decided that PJ provided the best value and contracted with him. He helped to meet the Cook County Health and Building/Zoning permit requirements. A couple months later we have our dream pool.PJ worked with several teams to complete the numerous steps it takes to finish an inground pool installation project. Most of his teams have been working with PJ for over 20 years and I witnessed the experience first hand, as they meticulously measured and executed on each phase.PJ is hands on and directed the most important activities during the installation. PJ is personable, responsive and passionate about his work. As I had questions, he was always quick to reply. I recommend PJ very highly.
