My swimming pool was installed in 1984. Through the years it was resurfaced twice. In 2026, the decision was made to renovate and level the pool which had settled. With much evaluation and discussion, Pleasure Pools was selected. The project included removal of all plaster, installation of new skimmers, installation of an 'auto-leveling' system, raising of the deck and freeboard of the pool by approximately 6", the replastering of the pool's interior with a Luna Quart's finish, new LED lighting, the installation of marble decking, modification to peripheral drainage system and other incidental changes. In other words, a major renovation of all facets of the pool. The project took approximately 2-1/2 months and looks terrific. I am extremely pleased with the project individuals from Pleasure Pools and each of their subcontractors. All were knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I give very high recommendations to considering Pleasure Pools for any/all facets to swimming pool modifications.
We had a great experience with Pleasure Pools from start to finish. Their team was professional, responsive, and very easy to work with throughout the entire process. Katherine was fantastic in helping us design exactly what we wanted and really took the time to listen to our ideas — unlike some of the other pool companies we met with. Matt also did an excellent job keeping us informed and updated during the build process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Overall, a great experience and we are very happy with the final result.
Pleasure Pools has been excellent. After using a couple of different pool service companies, they were the first to really analyze both my pool service and equipment and clearly explain what their program would fix and what it would not. That honesty helped me make a confident decision.I hired them to essentially replumb my pool for better flow and efficiency, and it has made a big difference. My pool is in much better condition, I’m seeing around $100/month in electricity savings, and the work was done at a very affordable price compared to other solutions I had been quoted.A few months later, everything is running better, the service schedule is being monitored, and even my pool vacuum, which had been getting tied in knots for years, is finally moving around the pool and cleaning like it should. Those little details matter.I also appreciate that they seem to run a solid company and take care of their team, including giving them holidays off.Charles, Matt, Phil, Joe, and the entire Pleasure Pools team have been awesome. Highly recommend.
When a company does a phenomenal job, this is my way of showing our gratitude.??**Update:We just finished our pool school with Mr. Phil Palazzo. First of all, he was very professional and knowledgeable, and we appreciated how patient he was in explaining everything to us (all the pool equipment and panels) so we have an idea of how everything works. This is our first pool, so y'all can imagine how clueless we are with everything, but he was really thorough and helpful.He took his time to show us how to manage the water chemistry of the pool and the parts that we should keep clean, which was easier than we thought it would be. He answered ALL of our questions. We highly recommend him for sure! Couldn't ask for a better person to teach us.***When we bought the house, the pool needed a lot of care and minor leak repairs. The guy who did the home inspection, Mr. Claus, recommended Pleasure Pools, so we googled them and Christian gave them a call.We had the pool professionally inspected for leaks to start the process.We went to their office in Mandeville so we could choose which pebble and tile to use. First of all, the owner himself, Mr. Charles, welcomed us and showed us around their office.We were taken to their showroom so we could "feel" the different kinds of pebbles before we decided. There was a lot to choose from, not to mention the color of the tiles as well! We didn't have any knowledge about any of those, and Mr. Kevin was patient and took his time to explain everything to us and shared his professional opinion on which tile matched the color of pebble that we chose. We appreciated that a lot!The people who worked in our pool were very professional (Mr. Mike, I forgot the names of the other ones); they explained to us what they were doing, and answered a lot of our questions.We decided to change the pool lights to color-changing ones after the pool was filled with water, which made their job harder. Additionally, it was really cold the past week, but they did it right away and finished the job in a timely manner.They also maintain the pool afterward to make sure the water chemistry is well-balanced and safe for swimming (can't wait for warmer weather!).I can't say enough kind words about how grateful we are to them! During our initial meeting with Kevin to discuss products and timelines, we had the pleasure of running into the owner, Charles, who expressed sincere appreciation for our continued trust in their company.Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable and honest throughout the entire process. He kept us well-informed at every stage, consistently reaching out via calls and texts to ensure we knew what to expect next. Phil also provided valuable insight, helping us understand which equipment needed replacement and why.We were equally impressed with their subcontractors, Karen, who handled the travertine work, was meticulous and attentive to every detail. Baldo and his crew demonstrated a strong work ethic and made sure the job site was always clean and orderly.We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome of our renovations and highly recommend Pleasure Pools for both new installations and any renovation needs.
