Made the mistake of giving these people a "refundable deposit" of 1k after a suspiciously low fiberglass pool quote (makes sense after the fact).After about a month of poor communication and unprofessional behavior I was very hesitant to give them more money and terminated the contract. I called about the deposit and was told it would be issued via check.Over a month later, still no deposit, called for the 2nd time after a month and was met with rude and combative behavior by their clerk Ashley. Wasted enough time with these clowns, handing the matter over to the contractor board, possibly small claims court to follow.Ultimately went with a different contractor who has been fantastic to work with.
Pool Guyz did a professional job installing the pool of my dreams. Danny was amazing. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with answering all of my first time pool owner questions. They are affordable and dependable with return visits to open and close my pool,
Derek, Danny, Cody & the rest of the team have been exceptional to work with. From the very first meeting to handling chaos with Dominion Power to coordinating with partners to do electrical, concrete & decking, working with the Pool Guyz has been a very positive experience. They were good at communicating next steps and walking us through this entire process. I can hardly wait to see the finished product. Bring on summer!!!
2019: We are so happy with our new fiberglass pool, it's so beautiful, and is now an oasis for my husband and I in our own back yard, from the time we met Cody who was there for us every step of the way to all of the guys who installed our pool my family would like to thank all of you, Cody, Eddie, Joe, and Arnold, you all went above and beyond, we definitely recommend "The Pool Guyz" if you are looking to have a pool installed, we have lot's of pictures, I will post some as soon as I can figure out how, LOL!2025: Continued review from above. I would like to share our experience with “The Pool Guys” for anyone interested or seeking to hire a reliable pool company. We had our in-ground fiberglass pool installed with them February 2019 and have truly enjoyed the pool since then with many memories shared with friends and family. It is a beautiful oasis with a few water features with color changing lights. We recently needed to have our lights replaced and they honored our warranty and installed the new lights within an hour. I would like to end this review and say that if you meet Cody you will not forget him, he is honest and a guy that’s not afraid of hard work and getting things done. We were so thankful from the day we signed the contract and picked out our pool to several years later he has always been there for us.
Rick and Danny were an absolute blast to work with. The service I requested was exactly what I got and more. The Pool Guyz entire team were amazing. They were always on time, they cleaned as they went, and I never once asked myself if I went with the right company. My pool looks amazing and I highly recommended these Guyz for your next pool too.
