Whenever we have a pool issue we always go into Tim’s for guidance. When we bought our house and became pool owners overnight it was definitely a steep learning curve. Tim has walked us through each step and even if he couldn’t help us with something, he has always gone far and beyond to let us know where to look. I also appreciate that he has never told us to buy something we didn’t really need. As new pool owners it was refreshing to feel we had someone on our side.
We absolutely love our marquis hot tub !! When we were first in the market for a Hot Tub, we actually went to Watson’s and bought a bullfrog. I immediately had them come back and get it. The Jets were extremely light. I found him at Tim’s pools and spas , I explained to him our situation and my husband needed good jets for the type of work we do once he showed us the marquis Hot Tub with the actual swimmers jet we knew immediately it was the one we needed!! We could not be happier ! I am so thankful we still deal with Tim for all our maintenance necessities! Thank you !!!
We went to several stores before a friend referred Tim. The top tier knowledge and 5 star service they provide is unheard of these days. He took the time to find out our needs and wants. educate us on various products and find something in our price range. The staff has always been friendly and helpful before and after our purchase. We have had questions since our purchase and they always answer with kindness. Tim's pools and spas has our business and referrals for life. We purchased a Tropic Seas Waikiki elite 91 x 91 hottub.
My experience with Tim and buying a spa was fantastic! He listened to what I wanted and was looking for in a hot tub. He didn't try to oversell or pressure me into buying a spa that day. There were no "today's price only" or "I can get you a special price today". The no pressure sales approach was refreshing. The most important thing to Tim, that I enjoy my spa for years to come. He also recommended I wet test the spas. Yes, get in my bathing suit and jump in the working hot tubs. This made all the difference! You can't realize what you like and don't like until you can get in the spa. Tim spent a lot of time with me going over jets, gallons a minute, foot well size, chemicals, pumps, care and maintenance. I know more about spas now than I ever knew was possible. Again, my entire visit was pressure free! I wasn't rushed. I was listened to. I am in love with my new spa and I HIGHLY recommend Tim's pools and Spas if you want pressure free, no hassle buying. Thanks Tim!!
Following my 3rd back surgery I bought an inflatable hot tub to see if it would help. After about 4 months of use we decided too invest in a much higher quality spa. So l looked up hot tub dealers in my area. I noticed the highest rated dealer was not far from where we lived. So on a Saturday we went to Tim’s pools and spas. We walked in and began looking around, A guy came up to us and asked us if we needed any help. And if we brought our swimsuits to try out the different options. He said he didn’t sell spa’s, that they sold themselves to individual needs. We told him we were looking to upgrade from an inflatable and that we had some good results following my 3rd back surgery. He said, back surgery! I’d love to sell you a spa today, but I’m not going to sell you one! I was like what? He said, call your doctor and see if they will write a prescription for a hot tub. He said it will help save you the taxes. So we finished looking around and went home. On Monday, I called my surgeon and told him what I was doing, he said no problem, he hoped it would help and that he would mail me a prescription. On Thursday I received the prescription and called Tim. I told him that I received the prescription and that I was ready to order the model we had decided on. He said, well I can’t sell it to you today, I said what? He said I heard that a sale is in the works and I didn’t want you to buy a spa and find out a week later you could have saved $500 off the price I quoted you. Call me next week. Middle of the following week I called and asked for Tim. Tim answered and said the sale is going to happen Saturday and it would save us an additional $1,200 dollars. I couldn’t believe it! I placed my order, about a month later our spa arrived. Tim had provided me a list of contractors to pre-wire it. I got 3 estimates and chose the cheapest one and had it ready to go. Once the spa arrived, it was placed right where we wanted it and I had the electrician arrive to finish the final wiring while I was filling it up. The spa didn’t come with control my spa so that it can be turned on and monitored by cell phone. I spoke to Tim and he said, he could have his lead technician install one for us. About a week later Tim’s lead technician Jerry came and installed the control my spa module. Everything worked well for about two weeks then the breaker started tripping randomly about every 3 to 4 days sometime after midnight. I called Tim and he said he’d send Jerry to investigate and correct the issue. Jerry came out and found and repaired several issues that the electrical contractor had preformed improperly. I have to say, Tim and Jerry stand behind their products and their work. We have been enjoying our spa without any issues nightly for over 6 months. I highly recommend Tim’s pools and spas. Great people are hard to find these days, but if you do business with them, you won’t be disappointed.Heather and JasonLebanon Ohio
