I called Mike to get his overall thoughts on hot tubs and maintenance. I have a difficult time believing everything that salespeople tell me and wanted to get thoughts and insight from an impartial third party (Mike performs maintenance only, not sales). He was incredibly nice and forthcoming with some great information. Thank you so very much, Mike. I appreciated the time. I can easily see why he gets such high ratings. Just a great guy overall.
Hot Tub started leaking when we came back from a 2 week vacation. We called around (didn't have a dedicated service person) & Mike said he would come over the next day. He came within the 2h window he provided, didn't even bother us, went straight to the hot tub and diagnosed and fixed it. Then called us to let it know it was all done, and we paid the (very reasonable) cost via venmo. Would recommend, especially if you're a new hot tub owner who doesn't have a ton of expertise.
My fiancé wanted our jet spa looked at so we contacted this company. When they responded, they said they would combine about 10 days or so. Two weeks went by so my fiancé texted him and asked again and he never responded. 6 days later, my fiancé reached out, yet again, and he was short with him and said he would come out to take a look for $200. I told my fiancé not to pay that much and that we would find somebody more reasonable, reliable and professional. I had to run out so I couldn’t be here. He didn’t listen and he let the guy come out. The guy was here maybe 30 minutes and he removed our GFI outlet and left it hanging and then in the basement, the doors that cover the electrical panel were off the wheels. He said we need electrician and took the $200 and left. Even if he is on the high end, he should have been more professional.
I would gladly recommend Advanced Spa Service to anyone in the area.Michael at Advanced Spa Service was quick to respond, courteous and professional. Due to crossed paths, I just missed him when he stopped by and rather than reschedule he walked around back and took a look - some people may find offense at this but I appreciated that he valued my time and his and didn't waste the trip. A follow up call wherein he walked me through diagnosing the issue and the spa was back up and running. I get the sense he probably wasn't even going to invoice me but I did ask him to because, in my opinion, supporting small businesses that offer good, professional service should be supported!
Advanced Spa promptly returned our service call. Many other companies never even returned our calls and some couldn’t even schedule service until several weeks. (Mike) scheduled us for service within 48 hours. The service technician (Bob) arrived promptly and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Bob repaired our spa and also gave much helpful advice for care and maintenance going forward. I cannot thank them enough for their expert assistance and would highly recommend them for any spa related services.
