Modern Homestead did an exemplary job renovating my garage. They were a pleasure to work with, from initial planning and consultation, through the build itself, to the final walkthrough. Ryan, Jerry, and their team are honest people and skilled at their craft. They totally transformed my garage from a decrepit, dusty mess to a space so clean and comfortable that I don't want to sully it with my car. I wont hesitate to use them again for any future projects! Thanks guys!!!

When we decided it was time to update the kitchen of the home we have lived in for 30 years, we interviewed and received estimates from four different Design Build Contractors. At the end of that process, we are very happy that we chose to work with the Modern Homestead team, including Ryan, Kristi, Jerry, Victor, and Diego, along with the other team members, and their selected subcontractors.

The design process included the initial design options and the selection of all the fixtures, lighting, appliances, cabinets, etc.. This process was so welcomed! We weren’t sure where to begin but Kristi, the designer, brought ideas together into a format that was easy to visualize and helped us design a kitchen and living space we love.

The construction process, from the onset of the demo through the final inspection, was about two and a half months. The Modern Homestead team removed non-weight bearing walls, opening our kitchen to our living room. The cabinet and countertop installation was precise and done with care. The MH team worked well throughout the entire process, including the coordination of the refinishing of our hardwood floors.

Communication was easy throughout the process. Ryan gave us a timetable and stuck to it! We were given an upfront schedule and cost and Ryan kept us updated if changes happened. We happily recommend the entire Modern Homestead team.

Ryan, Jerry and the MH team did an outstanding job on our master bathroom renovation. We did a full reno with a steam shower, heated floors, etc. and are so happy with the results. As with any renovation project there were some curveballs along the way and MH was able to handle everything our project required. The scheduling, billing, organization and communication were all top notch. MH is definitely a high end outfit. Ryan did a great job of leading his team and we would definitely work with them again. Shortly before we moved in to the home 2015, the entire basement had flooded and was unusable. We finally had the funds for a complete basement gut and finish and had several contractors come bid the job. John & team "wowed" us with their expertise, attention to detail, and process. We had a very specific idea in mind for what we wanted and John and the entire Modern Homestead team made sure to bring that idea to life. Matt offered project insight along the way and some helpful recommendations that really made the project even better. We encountered one small issue but John and team were quick to jump in and make sure everything was rectified in a timely fashion. We LOVE our new space - we now have another 1100 sq feet to live in!! Truly a top notch company from start to finish.

John and his team at Modern Homestead were fantastic. I reached out on Home Advisor to find a contractor for some work in my home and John reached out to me within an hour. By the next day, the team came to survey the work and I had an estimate from John that same afternoon. Work was started the next morning and his team completed everything within 1-day. The professionalism and workmanship shown by John and his team was outstanding and I would highly recommend Modern Homestead to anyone looking for a general contractor.
