Kay2 Contracting & Home Renovations

We hired Kay2 Contracting for the design and renovation of our main floor, and the experience was outstanding. Their team was organized, communicative, and highly skilled, ensuring every detail was handled with care. The project was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. We are thoroughly satisfied with the transformation and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Kay2 is a professional, well-rounded home renovation company with great attention to quality and service. Trever, their site supervisor, is excellent — he stays on top of the trades and ensures any issues are corrected quickly. He’s knowledgeable, proactive, and easy to work with. Suzette, the construction manager, consistently finds ways to keep costs and timelines on track without compromising quality. Moe, the owner, is hands-on and truly invested in his projects. He takes the time to listen, offers practical solutions, and stands behind the work his team delivers. He’s responsive and always willing to step in to make sure things are done right. Kay2 has now completed several projects for me, and I’ve been very happy with the experience every time.

We're really happy with how our project turned out. It included a living room fireplace remodel/conversion to gas, floating shelves & redesigned front entry. Carolina had great design ideas! Trever & Jeff were great to work with as were the sub-trades. Any issues we identified we're dealt with quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to hire them for a future project.

I hired Kay2 as my general contractor to help with a renovating the rooftop of my home so that it would be able to support a hot tub. As part of the project they expanded the size and structure of the existing rooftop patio, replaced the existing patio flooring, levelled, and waterproofed it. They placed joists in the walls on all levels of the house below the hot tub and then craned up and hooked up the hot tub. From planning to execution we worked on the project for around 1 year and when all was finished I was very happy with the final result. They took my vision and executed it perfectly. The team at Kay2 were all incredible. Moe did such a meticulous job of making sure the roof patio was perfectly level, but slightly elevated to fit a gas line under it, and all waterproof; very talented. Trever was the ultimate handyman, fixing any deficiencies immediately if they arose. And huge shoutout to Suzette who coordinated the whole project with myself and her team of professional subcontractors (of which there were many.. plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, roofers, etc) who did great work all around. She was always reachable and communicative which goes a long way during a long and complex project. Kay2 also stands by their work and will continue to fix any project related deficiencies should they arise in the future. Cost was always transparent and communicated to me in advance, and overall seemed quite fair. Overall there is a reason that Kay2 has won awards in the past for their work, and I will absolutely continue to use them for any future projects!

My husband and me would highly recommend Kay2 Contracting and home renovations for their exceptional work. We renovated our kitchen, bathrooms, up graded our floor, painted walls, exterior stucco and a lot more. From the initial consultation to the final walk through, the entire process was enjoyable. They are professional, team of skilled and knowledgeable offering guidance throughout the project. Excellent communication. Suzette is amazing, she kept us informed every step of the way, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and effectively. Trevor was amazing too. He paid attention to every detail and I would say his work is high quality workmanship. They respected our time and property. Pricing was fair and transparent. Thank you Moe, Jeff and Tammy for all your help. We are very happy with our renovation and would highly recommend this company.
