We chose Rusch Design Build for our kitchen, bar, and ensuite renovation, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. From our initial meeting with Oliver through to final completion, the entire team made the process seamless and stress-free. We had a very specific design vision, and Tawnya and the design team did an outstanding job bringing it to life. During construction, the contractors were extremely professional and delivered top-notch craftsmanship, which truly shows in the final product. Whenever minor issues popped up, Brad and Brennen were right there to listen and find quick solutions—though honestly, those moments were few and far between. If you're someone who is concerned about budgets and cost over runs then Rusch is the company you want. Working with the team, you set your budget and they design your renovation to meet your budget. At every step of the process they set out price ranges of what will work with your vision and they will be the ones to tell you if something is going to go over budget and make sure either you're good with it or offer suggestions to bring things back in line. If your project goes over your original budget it won't because of Rusch. We’ve been recommending Rusch Design Build to everyone throughout the process and will absolutely work with them again for any future renovations!

We engaged Rusch to complete a renovation of our kitchen and living room which they completed on budget and exactly on schedule. They were dream contractors: respectful, communicative, talented, and dealt with any hiccups/issues calmly and effectively. We did a lot of research before hiring Rusch and heard from many vendors, customers, etc. that they keep to their schedule. We were skeptical, but our biggest wish was to be back in our kitchen for the holiday season. They delivered on this and so much more. We love our renovated space - they made our vision come to life and made the process almost painless. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Rusch was a great partner for my kitchen renovation. The design process was collaborative and we ended up with a great design. The construction team was professional and personable......and they maintained a spotless worksite which I very much appreciated. We started our journey by needing to replace our “poly b” and do some long overdue renovations. We interviewed builders and decided to place our trust in Rusch. From day 1 they clearly outlined the process and met our expectations all along the way. The design process created a main floor with a kitchen and family room beyond our wildest dreams. They brought our 1990s styled home into a modern, updated, cosy place we love. During the construction phase we were given weekly updates by our project managers Brad and Brennan. Unexpected issues were dealt with calmly and with ongoing conversations. The trades people were friendly, professional and treated our home with respect. The finished product has created a home we are proud of and are excited to share with family and friends. Rusch Design Build completed a full renovation of our upstairs (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) in the spring of 2025. The design and construction teams listened closely to our needs, provided excellent guidance and were spot on with recommendations and cost estimates. From the first meeting to project completion, the designers, suppliers, trades, project managers and sub-contractors were excellent at their jobs and very respectful of us and our home. Renovations can be disruptive but the pre-construction project timeline was a huge asset, both for ongoing communication and to help us schedule our daily lives amid the construction. The team also worked with us when there were changes that came up and when we had an unexpected delay on our side. The project was on budget with no extra cost surprises. Our upstairs is transformed from a space that was not functional to one that we love to be in. We highly recommend Rusch for any design/build project you may have.

We just finished a full home renovation with Rusch Design Build which included removing and shifting several internal walls to create a beautiful and functional kitchen, two new full bathrooms, primary bedroom, office space, tv room with a Murphy bed for guests, new stairs and railings, lovely custom cabinetry and refinished hardwood throughout. Our renovation feels like stepping into a brand new custom home but with the midcentury bones shining through; we are thrilled with the many thoughtful details and skilled craftsmanship. During the course of our 6 month renovation, we worked with every team member at Rusch and what a cohesive and client focused team it is. Rusch listened carefully to our wish list of design ideas and worked very hard to meet our aesthetic vision and practical goals. We cannot say enough about the professional, collaborative, creative, client centred philosophy the entire staff holds and this level of excellence was shared with each of the 15 sub-trades Rusch brought to our project, some of whom had worked with Rusch for over 20 years. The design work including drawings and renderings, project plan, material selection and procurement, budget management and construction project delivery all landed on time and within scope. Modifications to any expectation were met with open attitudes, ample discussion time and creative solutions from the team. They wanted us to be super happy in our new home. The time flew by during the renovation and it was a very rare day that activity was not buzzing along at the tidy, well organized and safe project site. We genuinely enjoyed the whole project process with Rusch and even though we now have our forever dream home, if we ever had to renovate again, we would select Rusch in a heartbeat. We had lots of fun with the team and always felt like valued clients. We would not hesitate to recommend Oliver and the whole team at Rusch for any home renovation project.
