Jonathan and the entire team at New Blue were fantastic from start to finish. We chatted with several contractors for our project and Jonathan took the time to actually listen to what we wanted and more than delivered. They provided great recommendations, and what few subcontractors they needed, were also fantastic to work with. During one of our numerous conversations with Jonathan, he said that people have a certain perception of contractors, and they hope to change that. I believe they will, one client at a time. New Blue Construction is an outstanding company. We selected them for complete renovation of our 1923 North Chatt bungalow and really are pleased with the choice. New Blue started by understanding our project goals and plans, asking key early questions we hadn’t fully considered. When we started demo, we found things, both good and not so good, that called for adjusting our priorities and opportunities. They were so good at working with us to think it through. We also wanted to pitch in, having a bit of wood-working experience. The team made that part of the project, giving of themselves to help us work through the details and work along side us at times. Further, the crew had such high standards, fitting everything with great care. The property was well maintained throughout, always secured at the end of the work day. Finally, Stuart Gaines has impeccable standards. He inspected the project when we had a problem with a concrete pour, and immediately ordered it be redone; he wants everything to be something he will stand behind. Particularly in the COVID 2020 time period, with supply disruptions and labor shortages, we couldn’t be more glad we went with New Blue. The relationships they have with quality subcontractors really made a difference. The results are truly better than we imagined!

Is it possible to enjoy a full kitchen renovation? Yes! Especially when you have work crews as courteous, organized, and professional as New Blue does. It even extends to the subcontractors they brought in. The work site was always neat and clean when the finished for the day and they went out of their way to accommodate us during the four months they worked on our kitchen (which turned out AWESOME, by the way). I wouldn't hesitate for a second to call on them for any future project and I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone getting ready to start a major project like this.

I have worked with the leadership team and would give them my highest recommendation for new commercial and residential buildouts as well as customized remodeling and renovations.

My wife and I have chosen New Blue Construction for our last two major renovation projects. After an amazing kitchen renovation and cedar/stone carport construction a few years ago, I didn't even consider contacting anyone else for our most recent project. A stunning new deck was built, with proper grading and drainage, along with many needed repairs: cedar siding replacement, porch screens, painting, skylight replacements, etc. Both project supervisors have been total professionals and easy to work with and discuss problems/ideas.The carpenters and workers are super talented, diligent and trustworthy. They begin to feel like family over the course of a major project. The subcontractors, likewise, have all been professional and trustworthy. I will use New Blue again, and recommend them highly.
