Capstone Home Improvement

We had a different company 3 years ago. Come and do windows and doors and trim. And they were awful. They did not want to come back and warranty. Anything and I called Capstone and they are absolutely amazing. They have done a beautiful job on my doors. My trim my windows, I can't say enough how absolutely. Amazing they have done Kent did a wonderful job on the trim. And Sean did an amazing job on the windows and door I would give them 5 star plus

Roof, gutters, windows. They will sub contract everything to the lowest bidder. Not one of the people that worked on our house were from capstone. Low bids and poor quality. What a disappointment. I’ll post pics ASAP. Flashing around chimney was put up using black AND white metal, when we asked for black, and the caulking was a mess. When I mentioned it, the roofer came out…and spray painted the white pieces black.

Roof drip edge was put up, and clearance for gutter mounts were snipped, but the gutter guy used none of them. Now the drip edge has slots cut into it for no reason. Some areas of the gutter are well below the drip edge to where ice will build up behind the drip edge.

Windows were going to be installed without window flashing until I asked about it. They were just using a bead of clear caulking. Also, they didn’t spray in expanding foam for insulation around the window between the rough opening and window frame. I had to do that myself.

I gave them the chance to make it right, but they weren’t concerned with the issues I found. The work was done and they had my money.

Save yourself and go elsewhere…anywhere but Capstone.

Edit: Owner HAS NOT come out and nothing has been fixed. The owner did reach out through email (which got flagged as suspicious by gmail) stating he’d come out personally and look at my house and I responded to him about a month late. I am still waiting as he has not responded back to my email. As of right now NOTHING has been fixed.

Had Capstone out to paint my home exterior. Couldn't be any happier. Job was done quicker than they estimated and right on budget. Josiah was easy to work with and the communication was great. The paint crew leader I believe his name was Kevin. Texted very regularly. Keeping us up to date with the status of the project and next steps. 100% would recommend and plan to use Capstone again for future projects.

Capstone was able to provide a fast, competitive quote to replace our aging roof. Once signed, the job was completed quickly and professionally. The roofing team was very professional, polite, and courteous and took time to answer my questions. Many neighbors have stopped by to compliment the way the new roof looks. Great job all around.
