The Character crew showed up when they said they would every day. Even tho they had to remove the toilet daily to do the demo and then reconstruct, they made sure I had a working toilet every day! Every day they let me know what the work entailed, what to expect, when and what they would have done, keeping me apprised every step of the way. The work went so fast. They started the demo on the first day Jan 20 and by Jan 23 they had the shower roughed in ... not usable yet, but I could see what it would look like! By Jan 26 the shower was usable! And by Jan 29 the project was complete, new paint, new shower, new cabinet, new ceiling fan, new lights, sink reinstalled, all of it! The crew was so careful moving around the house, laying down drop cloths across my wood floors so nothing damaged the floors, then cleaning up every night with the dust and construction dregs that happen. I couldn't be happier (unless the job was free!! LOL ) I would recommend Character Interiors for any construction around the house. They replaced my garage roof in August, put down a new concrete slab in my driveway in September, replaced my rain gutters in September, then the new shower in January. Always prompt, on time, and great clean up during and after the projects.
When a tree fell through our living room window, it was incredibly stressful and overwhelming. This company responded quickly and immediately helped us stabilize the situation. They cleaned up the debris, boarded up and tarped the damaged window, and made sure our home was secure until the insurance adjuster could assess everything.Since then, they have worked directly with our insurance company and managed the repair process from start to finish. The scope of work has included installing a new window, replacing trim and drywall, painting, refinishing our floors, repairing exterior siding, and more. It’s been a large project, but they’ve handled it professionally and efficiently.The project isn’t 100% complete yet, but so far we are very pleased with the quality of work and the communication throughout the process. We truly appreciate their responsiveness and the care they’ve taken with our home during such a stressful time.
Character Interiors did a solid job overall and was easy to work with. We did notice an issue with some of the drywall work that needed attention, but they were responsive and willing to address it. Communication was straightforward, and they stood behind their work. I appreciate a company that shows up and works to make things right.
I had a small bathroom that needed some finish work. CI looked at the project, told me exactly what needed to be done and how long it would take. They came back to complete the work not only as timely as quoted but they were very professional, very detailed about the project, and cleaned up after themselves. I finally got the bathroom I wanted. I would highly recommend this company. As a side note, they are building a couple of homes in my lake community and they are beautiful. Seeing their work ethic and clean construction sites, they would be my first choice to build a new home.
Home design on our home addition was a fun process and one that loose us to see every detail before we moved forward. This is. Very detailed and local team which allowed us to be comfortable with the process an give us a full understanding of what needed to happen and when. Made our home addition which was done remotely very easy and smooth! The on site team was amazing and the final results were exactly as we asked for and expected!!
