I reached out to Universe Construction due to the aftermath of a flooded Master bathroom. I was able to reach a person right away and schedule an estimate a couple days later. The estimate was within our budget and we were so happy to get started asap due to a horrible year of dealing with insurance, rebuilding ourselves and not hearing back from a previous contractor. Annette was the Project Manager and walked us through the whole process. She was really great to work with and went the extra mile, to help us. The tile work was beautiful, The plumber was excellent fixing some of the problems we had. Electrician, Demo, painting, Cleaner, glass no complaints. Just really happy dealing with friendly, nice, hardworking professionals. I like that they were able to do smaller jobs and appreciate the owner reaching out and thanking us for business. Would recommend this company to family and friends.

We hired Universe Construction to finish our basement, and like any construction project, we ran into some challenges.

Unfortunately, we found ourselves in the middle of a subcontractor change that we didn’t know about at the time. Because of that, communication broke down, and we ended up being the ones catching mistake after mistake. Most notably electrical problems and missing HVAC (even though drywall was already up). It was stressful, and we started to worry that we’d made the wrong choice. When the subcontractor told us the job was “finished,” we looked around and were shocked at how poor the quality was. To name just a few issues: no caulking on any trim, paint drips everywhere (on windows, hinges, and baseboards), doors that were never painted even though they should have been, a cheap shelving system instead of the custom one we paid for, missed texture on walls—the list goes on.

We brought our concerns to Esre, the owner, and he came to see the work himself. He immediately agreed that it wasn’t up to the standard his company stands for and promised to make it right. What impressed us most was his integrity. He didn’t make excuses or try to place blame. Even though we had already paid in full, he brought in a new crew and had the entire basement redone so it met the quality he promises his clients. We were honestly relieved and incredibly grateful for how he handled everything.

A special shoutout to Taylor, the tile guy, his craftsmanship and attention to detail is outstanding. That part of the project went perfectly, and if you’re lucky enough to get him on your job, you’re in great hands.

We understand that things can go wrong in construction, but our project had more than its fair share of problems. That’s why we can’t say enough good things about Esre and Universe Construction. He stands by his word, genuinely cares about his customers, and made sure we ended up with a basement we love. We’d hire him again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone finishing or renovating their home.

I couldn’t be happier with my kitchen renovation! The entire process was smooth from start to finish, and the results are absolutely beautiful. Kate the project manager did an outstanding job—always professional, organized, and attentive to every detail. Communication was great throughout, and any questions or changes were handled quickly and thoughtfully. The crew showed up on time, kept the workspace clean, and clearly took pride in their work. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and project management.

We had our master bathroom remodeled. We appreciated their professionalism and the work was completed in a timely manner. Our bathroom looks beautiful. The owner Esra and the project manager Kate were very personable and they genuinely cared about me their client and the quality of their work. Great company.

We chose Universe Construction because of their 4.9 stars review on Google. The end result was satisfactory and the bathroom is beautiful. The estimate for the project was reasonable and within our budget. We did not have anything custom made as this was a small space and we wanted the work to be completed as soon as possible. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because there wasn't much oversight during and upon completion of the project. I thought the general contractor would have came into inspect the quality of work that had been done, however, he visited one time for a few minutes half way through the project. Did not see him upon completion. I did appreciate Kate, the project manager, who was very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire project. I enjoyed working with her. Overall, good experience and appreciative of the hardwork from those involved.
