FBC Remodel

This was our second time using FBC after they finished our basement several years back. This project was scoped to a main floor remodel, and we ultimately chose not to proceed with the project at the end of the design process.

We found FBC to be very organized - the planning and appointments were structured well, with some done virtually and some in person. This was helpful to make sure we could make progress on the plan without having to go to their office each time.

Their team is also just very friendly. Even after we decided not to move forward with the project, our designer was very professional and courteous. We never felt pressured, and they worked to understand and plan around our budget.

Finally, the designer was very open to feedback and was quick to iterate on design ideas we provided with feedback we provided. This allowed us to really understand what the finished product would look like.

For a great remodeling experience look no further than the team of Dominic, Gabbie and Bryce who take so much pride in their work and obviously love building joy for their many clients. Their communication is outstanding. The commitment is unmatched and the quality is flawless. Highly recommended!!!

This is a very belated review for FBC and their wonderful team. We had a flood in our basement and decided to do a complete remodel. We needed the space to be more functional so we chose FBC due to their design element. We worked with Gabbie on our design and she could not have been more helpful or creative. We went through multiple revisions and she truly listened to all of our feedback and immediately incorporated it into updated designs. Our end product is exactly what we needed and hoped for not only from a functionality standpoint, but aesthetically as well. After the design was complete, we worked with Dominic and his trade partners on actual construction. We were dreading having people in our home for several months but they could not have been more friendly and professional. They did their best to minimize disruption to our daily lives and kept their workspace as clean as possible. We have an older home so there were a few surprises that were uncovered as we went along. Dominic was great about communicating promptly and offering the best solutions for us. He is very creative and resourceful. Every single tradesman that worked on our basement was professional and really took pride in their work. We would 100% recommend FBC to anyone looking for quality work with a creative and professional team. It has been about 6 months since the project was completed and we could not be happier. Every bit of our experience with FBC was wonderful! Daily updates, immaculate work spaces and professional contractors are the norms. Dominic, our project manager was a delight to work with. He is knowledgeable , accommodating and best of all, we finished exactly as promised.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our new space! Home renovation projects are often notorious for exceeding budgets, construction delays, and dwindling communication once the project commences. However, FBC’s methodology and approach throughout the design and build phase exceeded our expectations, thanks to our incredibly talented and thoughtful designer, Brittany, and our knowledgeable, resourceful, and persevering project manager, Dominic.

Their professionalism, industry expertise, and responsiveness, paired with an unwavering commitment to frequent and transparent communication, truly set them apart from others in this field. The custom design and meticulous craftsmanship of our reimagined space—featuring a new basement powder room, 500-bottle wine cellar, gaming area, man cave, wet bar, study, as well as ample dedicated storage, mechanical, and utility spaces — are a testament to their design creativity and hard work.
