I contracted with Usher Building and Design to do a small addition on my 100+ year old craftsman. I wanted to expand the small laundry room into a laundry room/ office for a bit more space . Joel and his team carefully executed the project and the final product was amazing (passing every one of the many inspections the city requires on time). As you can see from the photos the siding of the house matches the original siding perfectly and the addition looks like it was always a part of the original house. It’s clear that Joel puts quality and clients vision first in every decision - so grateful I went with them for my project!

Usher Building and Design just completed a renovation of our guest bathroom and did a fantastic job! Their team is professional and punctual with a high focus on detail and craftsmanship. Joel and his team do some amazing work! Our project was pretty small, but this didn't detract from his company's high level of professionalism. From the initial quote to the final product, I was impressed with the work. In this project, I needed to replace a funky light install done by the previous owners. They had used improper lighting and wired them to an outlet in the laundry room with extension cord through the ceiling. We needed Joel to come in and replace this with something that looked fitting and wired to switches properly according to code. Before, I had to resort to turning on the lights via a smart plug and am Alexa device! Roman came in and completely nailed the electric work! He had no issue working in 3 and 4-way switches, removing the old lighting and perfectly spacing the new cans to make them look like the 20-year old house had been built with them. And then, when he finished, the ceiling was patched and floated so well, I had to look very closely to find where the patches had been done. If you want VERY high end work, this is who you go to. It will get done right, to code, and it will look magnificent! I can't wait for the opportunity to hire Joel again when it's time to renovate again, thanks!
