I just hired Sky-Lan Construction to remove the fireplace that was never used, covered in brick from floor to ceiling, taking up valuable space. Skylar and his crew, Oscar and Marlo,, were incredible. They worked quickly and extremely professional,, and their attention to detail and making sure everything was not only done correctly,, but to my satisfaction. It is with great pleasure that I offer my recommendation of the Sky-len company and their crews.My job involved raising 350 sqft of sunken living room floor 51/2 inches. It also meant that the 40 year old, 9 ft wide, glass patio door had to be removed by cutting the interior and exterior walls. Then, a new 9 ft door installed by framing it in and then installing the new, very heavy, 3 partition glass door. All of this work involved a great amount of carpentry skill, stucco, sheetrock and paint. The finished floor then required 350 sqft of tile & matching grout to be installed. Any project involving this many steps could be overwhelming. However, Ricardo and Luis of Sky-lan, performed most of the work and insodoing met every challenge skillfully while also remaining courteous and always on time.In addition, you can always tell the best skilled workers by their organized approach and how clean they keep the job site. I know they were tired at the end of the day but insisted they clean the area before leaving. They're the pro's you hope you can hire!Yes, I guess you could say I'm most happy with the results of sky-lan and their work.
