Mike and his team at MB Renovations and Construction did an amazing job on the bathroom renovations at my mom’s place. She was in the hospital with a herniated disc and lost a bit of mobility after surgery, so I decided to do some handicap-accessible renovations at her place hoping that it could be done before we brought her back home.When I spoke with Mike about my timeline concerns and what I wanted with a cost-effective budget, he gave me several options to match different budgets and ensured me that it could be done within 2 weeks after he looked at the bathroom. During the time of ordering material, I changed my mind last minute about the surroundings, adding more to the budget.Mike and his team removed the old bathtub, filled in the gap in the ex. wall between the tub and the new handicap toilet, installed a shower basin with new faucets and plumbing, installed numerous grab handles, and reversed the swing on the door to improve maneuverability.The quality of workmanship exceeded my expectations, as I was quite impressed with their finishings and transitions to the ceiling and adjacent walls. To top it all off, they taped construction paper in the hallways from the front door to the bathroom to protect the hardwood floors AND they even brought in my mom’s mail and packages left at the front door. After the renovations, there was NO evidence that a contractor was at my mom’s place, inside or outside. They were ahead of schedule and didn’t exceed my budget.I would highly recommend Mike and his team for bathroom renovations. Next on my list is a new deck that [hopefully] Mike will be building in the future.

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Mike and his team!!We asked Mike to help us design and build a deck off of our dining room, he listened to our needs and vision, and was able to put into reality the deck of our dreams!Our bathroom renovation ended up being a bit of an afterthought in the initial plans, and are we ever happy we tackled it — there was a lot of damage behind the walls, which we did not fully know the extent of, but we are very happy to have it fixed and know that it’s not something we have to worry about any longer.Mike’s crew was amazing, often showing up before 8am waiting patiently for us to leave for the day, they were incredibly reliable and very friendly with our kids and pets. It was a pleasure to work with all of them.I would recommend MB Renovations & Construction to anyone, and I am 100% certain we’ll use them again in the future!!!
