Hometown Remodeling

Several months since Hometown Remodeling completed our renovation. Best decision ever! Interviewed five contractors before hiring Hometown. From day one, Richard (and Patti) did nothing but impress us. The picures are how is looks today (sorry...very lived in !). Extensive renovation. Downstairs (multiple rooms) completely gutted, load bearing wall replaced with a beam, all new electrical downstairs, new lighting, new floors, couple new windows and doors, stairs renovated, upstairs bathroom renovated, hardwood floors upstairs refinished, House is 1961 era, lot's of challenges from asbestos removal to wiring and plumbing issues. Hometown met each challenge without concern. The various speciality trades (electrical, etc...) were outstanding. Cannot say enough good things about Richard's crews. The quality is amazing. Richard is a great communicator. Straightforward, no attempts to "upsell" anything, listened to our wishes throughout. Would use Hometown again in a heartbeat!

We recently had a major addition built onto our home, and from start to finish, Hometown Remodeling was outstanding. Rob, Richard, and Patti provided valuable ideas and guidance right from the beginning, helping us navigate this big project with confidence. At every step, they made sure I was informed, comfortable, and satisfied with the progress. The quality of both the workmanship and materials was excellent. Whenever I had questions or needed clarification, our conversations were always met with sincere engagement, clear communication, and genuine respect. By the end of the process, it felt like I had gained an extended family. I wholeheartedly give Hometown Remodeling my highest recommendation—they truly go above and beyond.

We used Hometown Remodeling to replace the original siding on our 33 year old home. From our first meeting with Richard through the day Jake and Jacob finished putting up our new siding, we were pleased with the experience. Richard came to our house and talked through the various options available, answering all of our questions without making us feel like we had to decide right away. Patti was always pleasant to talk to when we needed to call the office for information. Jake and Jacob were meticulous with their work and along with Richard, were able to help guide us when we encountered some minor repairs that needed to be done as they took down the old siding. We felt informed along the way and could not be happier with the finished transformation.

After mitigation due to water damage, I spent hours researching contractors. I decided to hire Hometown Remodeling to restore my kitchen. Rob, Richard and his team of highly professional, meticulous, and courteous workers did an incredible job in record time. I needed a contractor who would start right away and get the job done quickly, as I have renters living in the house. The renters work from home. We were all highly impressed with the quality and professionalism of this team. Every email, phone call and text was immediately answered. I am very pleased with the finished product and will definitely refer them to my friends. Thank you for this job. Well done

After much debate about whether we should repair or re-side our 30 year old weathered home in Virginia Beach, we decided to call Hometown Remodeling. They had recently completed some jobs in the neighborhood so we contacted the owners of the homes and they couldn’t have been happier. We were impressed from the very start of the process. Rich’s professional approach and Tina’s support in the office were definitely important in our decision to use Hometown. Once we decided on the style, color, etc., the job went as well as we could have ever expected. The installers, Jake and his son Jacob are true craftsmen and they take the time to make sure every inch of the job is completed to perfection. We now marvel every time we drive up to our “new” home and have nothing but praise for Hometown Remodeling.
