Customer feedback highlights clear communication, timely updates, and photo documentation—especially for storm-related work and insurance needs. Many note projects are completed efficiently once materials arrive, with crews keeping sites orderly and cleaned after. Several reviews mention quality workmanship on roofing as well as windows, doors, and deck tie-ins. A small number cite issues with material ordering or jobsite mishaps, suggesting the importance of proactive follow-up on in-progress items.
It's important for a roofer to let you know when their crew's foot goes through the ceiling. It is important that a roofer order the correct materials and not leave a portion of a roof covered with a tarp. This can create anxiety and regret for a customer, and water damage to a home. If you have a roofing experience that results in too few panels being ordered, you would be well advised to ask your roofer to put temporary metal panels in their place while waiting on the right materials. It is important for a roofer's installation crew to avoid damaging your gutters when leaning their ladders on the home. Damaged gutters can lead to water damage to a home.Impact Roofing and Construction left my roof exposed to the weather. Impact Roofing and Construction failed to order the right number of panels, and they thought that a tarp would suffice in the place of metal. I had to notify Impact Roofing and Construction when the tarp they thought was covering the home blew away. Impact Roofing's contractors damaged the gutters around the home. Impact Roofing's contractors stepped through my ceiling and told no one. This is the kind of service you get when the work is outsourced to a Latino crew while ownership and management make excuses for the sub par service that they outsource.I would avoid Impact Roofing and Construction. I encourage you to look elsewhere. Be wary of their contractual terms. Be wary of an owner who blames the customer for his errors.
Derrick and his team did a great job once again. We had them come out a few years back for a roof replacement that withstood Helene’s winds, so I was happy to have them come back and install a new deck, including a screened in portion that tied into the existing roof, as well as brand new steps into our garage and replace a previously damaged window. The projects were completed rather quickly once the materials arrived, and communication was clear and ongoing throughout the entire process. We’re super happy with the results!
Derrick & his team did a great job replacing our 40 year old doors and windows. The installers were professionals who knew what they were doing. They fixed some damaged wood and made our home like new! Can't say enough good things.
Impact Roofing is a great and honest company. Mr. Taylor, explained the process of repairing my roof due to the damages from storm Helene. Impact roofing met the requirements of Usaa’s guidelines. I received photos and all while being overseas. Impact Roofing completed my home within a two day time frame. His team did an incredible job before and after to include cleanup. I would highly recommend Impact Roofing. Thank you for all your hard work.
We contracted with Impact Roofing and Construction for remodeling of our home in Brynwood the summer of 2024. It involved removing two walls on the main level, completely remodeling the kitchen, changing one bathroom into 1 1/2, paint, drywall, floors, etc. It all went swimmingly until Hurricane Helene hit. Add new roof and new A/C to the list because of fallen trees. Our home's damage wasn't nearly as bad as others and we accepted a much longer timeline as they split forces and tried to take care of as many people as possible. The process was far from seamless - how could it be after Helene? But at the end of it all we wound up with a beautifully renovated home with all of our concerns addressed. The bottom line price was very fair and what we agreed too - despite old house surprises and hurricane wrath. I'm proud to recommend Impact Roofing and Construction to others. And if you're very lucky, you'll get to work with Taylor O'Neal.
