Customer reviews often praise Apple Roofing for responsive communication, guidance through complex insurance claims, and professional crews that stay on schedule. Several homeowners mention confidence after initial consultations and satisfaction with final roof replacements. A smaller number of reviews cite concerns about follow-up on workmanship issues and expectations around ancillary repairs like gutter or wood replacement.
My resident roof was replaced due to previous storm damage. Fully covered by Farmer's Insurance. Apple Roofing was recommended being local and an excellent contractor. Mr. Tim Wilkerson was the Apple representative and he did an excellent job throughout the project. He provided thorough knowledge and timely communication at all times. I highly recommend Apple Roofing for installation and repair needs.
Paul Kreilich and the Apple Roofing team were great to work with. They did good work, and took care of some really complex insurance stuff — fighting my insurance to get a full replacement on some very costly items that insurance had initially rejected. Definitely give them a call.
I felt incredible confidence in Apple Roofing after our first meeting with Paul & Jason! I knew we were making the right choice of contractors. Both gentlemen were very knowledgeable, professional and responsive. Their assistance working through the insurance process allowed us to get needed updates corrected. The workmen were responsible, courteous, prompt and again communicated their schedule. We are VERY pleased with our new roof and Apple Roofing! After calling the insurance company to let the ‘renewal dept’ know the roof was complete, I was surprised to hear next years premium will be reduced significantly and even getting a refund for part of the current year premium. I am a happy camper !Holly Gray
I was very disappointed with this company. One of our houses needed the roof and gutters done. The roof was fine until a storm blew through. Now above the porch, it is buckling a bit. Also, they replaced the gutters. The problem is they nailed to rotting wood. We were told the wood would be replaced. We told them before they ever started that these needed to be done. We have text messages and all saying they would replace everything that was needed. We had several other companies to make bids for all this. Needless to say, now we are told they don’t replace it and the wood is fine. Maybe they think because I’m a female that I don’t know when wood is rotten and it won’t hold. The other guy proceeded to tell me that he was up there and checked it all, he said he spent 30 years in the military like that’s suppose to mean something and he is new to this type of work. So I asked them if they don’t replace the wood like they said does that mean they are going to be sending a crew to nail it back to the rotten wood every time it falls off. No answer. Some of the gutters aren’t even connected in the back of the house. If you’re looking for a company go to someone else. I don’t think they would be proud of this job if it was their house.
The only reason this gets a star at all is the team that came and did the gutters. They deserve 5 stars. We had a horrible hail storm that caused enough damage to replace our roof and Apple Roofing was the first company to come by to help us and they seemed to be a great company. Our rep walked us through the whole process and said he or someone would be at our house during the project. We maybe saw someone who actually worked for Apple Roofing for 10-15 minutes the whole day and they didn’t do much. I was assured they would maintain a clean, organized and orderly area while doing the work. As you can see from the pictures this did not happen. The “Apple Crew” as they called them had their luggage tossed all over our front yard, air compressor placed on 3 flowers in our flower bed, ladder sitting on more. There is concrete 2 inches from where they had these items and grass. The crew walked all over the plants in our flower bed the whole day with zero respect for our property. Debris was over multiple plants around our yard and in trees. Most of the houses in our neighborhood have had to get their roofs replaced and none of their landscaping was damaged, so we trusted the same would be us, not at all.Plants aside we had just finished a new platform and steps off our backdoor that was beat all to heck with falling debris. It was never covered by a tarp and at one point was covered with nails, old shingles and more. Not getting to the actual roof that was installed, let’s just say it looks like a team of toddles did it. They chipped trim, siding, and paint in multiple areas. In one area it looks like they emptied an entire container of black tar to cover up something. Where they trimmed off the access shingles at the ends it looks like a 4 year old did it with serrated scissors. As a homeowner who does a lot of work to keep up their home the look of the finished roof does not reflect any projects on Apple Roofing’s website or social media’s.It took almost a month to have a final inspection done and everyone expect Russell has mad one excuse after another. One manager actually told me “well why did you do your landscaping if you knew you were getting your roof replaced’. I would not recommend them to replace the room on our daughter playhouse. When trying to communicate to get information or a schedule there is none. Most of the time we just have someone show up with zero notice. Do what we didn’t and get a second opinion and go with that one.
