I recently hired Story Roofing to rebuild my upper deck and stair railings after they sustained hurricane damage. I cannot say enough about this company, especially the supervisor, Paul DeBeer, who coordinated my repair job! From the initial inspection and estimate, Paul was responsive, professional, and courteous. He listened to me and helped me make choices that fit my needs. Paul frequently stopped by to oversee the work in progress. He continued to keep in contact with me throughout every step of the repair, ensuring that I was happy with the work being completed. Paul went over and above to rebuild a staircase railing when I changed my mind about a wood stain color. This showed how deeply he cared about making sure that I was totally happy with the job.

My new deck and stair railings are awesome!! The craftsmanship is high quality and my deck now looks like a showcase. The entire staff at Story Roofing were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Story Roofing for your next deck railing project!!

They did a new roof in 2020 and the dormer side has leaked in the winter ever since. they sent out their inspectors from Story and claim everything‘s installed properly. However, this year I had enough of this nonsense and have had two independent contractors in here one of them an Owens Corning preferred roofing co., they both claim the dormer side has been improperly installed with many flaws, causing leaks and drywall damage! In all fairness, they did the dormer side of the roof in the fall and the rest of the house the next spring. The original crew they had replaced admitting they took too many shortcuts. The completed roof by the second crew does not leak so go figure.
