Done Right Roofing removed an existing 30 yr old roof, repaired damaged decking, soffit, facia and associated trim.
The firm was one of three bidders.
Mr. Silvey's (Bill) process began with an on the roof inspection and progressed to a well organized survey type discussions of material choices, methods of installation and expected long term performance of the installed roof. His assessment also included attic ventilation. He was the only bidder to do so.
During the discussion he presented material samples and information relating to the function and purpose of that material.

At that time, after selecting options, with all the details still fresh in my mind, Bill composed a printed contract and we had our agreement. Other bidders came, looked, talked briefly and left with a promise to send a bid later.
The work was scheduled and in due course the crew arrived.
This crew was a cohesive group of men who were accustomed to working together. Each one knew his task and got down to work. These men were polite, courteous and easy to talk with. The crew chief was always available to answer questions and easy to work with.

The nature of the demolition of the existing roof creates a mess which was kept under control and limited in scope at all times. Flower beds and the ground were covered to catch any falling debris and was cleaned up as the work progressed. 90 plus percent of old roof went directly from the roof into a trailer (did not hit the ground).

The work progressed rapidly and in conformance with not just the contract but also met my expectations from the discussion with Bill. Everything was up front and transparent in the eyes of this long time construction hand.

Final clean-up was excellent.
Communications with Bill were clear, frequent and easy. He worked well with our insurance company and minimized our paperwork.
