Recent reviews are mixed. Positive notes mention completed projects for multiple family members and cleanliness after the job. Critical feedback raises concerns about communication, timelines, warranty follow-up, and project coordination. Prospective customers often mention wanting clearer expectations and updates during longer projects.

I am not going to waist my time going into detail about my bad experience only for the owners wife to come and try to justify their lack of customer service but save yourself some time and find yourself someone else to do your roof. My complaints are very similar to the ones already posted in previous reviews and I don’t have the time to explain all the bs excuses these people put me through as I’m writing this review more than a month late. This business is going down hill and not adequate for even the small job I had. Don’t let them persuade or gas light you.

Would give no star if available. If you’re thinking of using this company, read the most recent review. We had similar problems with this company who installed a new Mule Hide roof at La Playa condominiums on South Padre Island. Take a look at the roof. Questions you should ask Jason before you agree to hire him; 1. Does he have a crew, if not, why not? 2. Why was a lien put on La Playa by Mule-Hide? 3. Why did he use cheap screws that rusted and stained the building? 4. Why didn’t he complete paper work with Mule Hide leaving La Playa without a warranty? 5. Why , when the roof leaked, it took him months to fix the roof? 6. Why did it leak again after the first repair in the same place?, 7. Why did he not cover all of the parapets as he proposed, until a BBB complaint was filed? 8. Why did it take him years to finish it? 9.. Why didn’t he follow the Mule Hide handbook procedures when installing the parapets? When he answers these questions by blaming someone else, get a name and number and verify what he says. It will save you a lot of heart ache and money!

See my review on their Facebook page for further details as it was too long to post here on Google or else I would have. If you don’t have access to facebook, just know that this company does not stand by their word, communication is subpar, their lack of empathy as well as customer service when your issue is not an entire roof replacement is disheartening. My new roof leaked about a year later. Took almost 6 months to get the issue “fixed” because my small job was not a priority. Had a new company come out to look at the issue and they had to completely tear apart the mess this company’s contractors left behind. Caulking everywhere, rusted nails, exposed gaps, it was horrendous. Owner does not come to assess the work nor communicate properly unless of course you report them to the BBB. They will make you feel like they’re working on your issue, not contact you for weeks, give false promises, gaslight you and leave you on read. Highly do not recommend. Having to spend more money out of my pocket for a real company to come out and fix the mess they left me.

I obtained their services because they did a great job on the roofs for my sister, my brother, two of our friends, and our church. Very happy with their work, speedy and they clean up after completion. Thank You!

Met with Jason, he gave me a quote of 14,000 for the entire roof. He said it would take 2 days. Once up there the workers discovered the roof was very damaged and Jason said it had to re-built before they could actually place the roof, so the quote went to $16,626. It took a week to be complete, in April 8, 2022. He said they would email me the warranty from Owens Corning. Upon looking at the roof he didn't do the patio roof, so I called him and he said "I thought you were tearing it down" I told him I was tearing down the carport which had nothing to do with the patio. They left materials on my front lawn for 2 weeks. 4-24-22 roof still not done, he said they would be there tomorrow. April 26, 2022, it rained my kitchen was all wet. he said it was the vent from the range hood, but he closed it. 5-28, roof is leaking, up to now. I called owens corning and they said I am not even registered for the warranty, Jason said he submitted it in April, which was a big lie. After I tell him they don't have me registered his quick response "they are back logged" when I asked the rep from Ownes Corning she said that is incorrect. At the most it would take a couple of days. we are now at the end of June and he is claiming the roof is not leaking, it's the parapet walls that are leaking. I don't have time for word games, the reason I allegedly paid more than the quote was so he could rebuild it.........So, I am not a roofer, however, if I paid you over $16 thousand, you couldn't fix that? it is ridiculous I regret having gone through this company. waste of money, time, and energy. they claim to guarantee their workmanship, however, it's been nothing but an epic failure.
I paid an extra $2,000 more from your original estimate because you had to "rebuild" the roof and guess what? the parapet wall is a dwarf wall around the edge of the roof, which is part of the roof. It's like if I you have a flat tire because there is a nail in it and I tell you hey I fixed your flat but we don't work on nails, so it can be flat again. I hired you because the roof had a leak and you failed to solve the issue. I paid you over $16 grand and the roof still has a leak.it took 2 months for you to tell me where the leak was coming from. Upon installing the new roof, you told me it needed to be rebuilt, why didn’t you tell me about the parapet wall? This is something you could have told me from the beginning to get it taken care of. You should have placed the roof lining over the wall, but because you want to play word games and talk down to me you didn't complete the job you were paid to do. It's sad that in 2022, male machismo is in full effect, because I know you wouldn't do this to a male client.
