Quick response and quote. They fabricated a chimney cap and installed it. I didn’t climb on the roof to check it out.
It was difficult finding someone to fabricate the cap.

I had Blake Mabile stop out to look at a roof leak that was preventing me from finishing a bathroom remodel for my client's. Blake quickly assessed that what was needed was a couple of boot flashings replaced and a portion of the metal roof that had been damaged from a past hurricane. He quickly sent an estimate that seemed reasonable and a week later a team showed up to complete the repair. Michael Barringer was supervising and called me to share that the entire roof was subject to endless deficiencies from past contractors and really should be replaced. I agreed with him as I had previously inspected the roof and came to the same conclusion. I explained to Michael that unfortunately the homeowner was not in a financial position to replace the roof at this time, they were also aware of it condition and at this time we just needed assurance that the leak could be stopped and stopped for a time that allowed them to prepare for a full roof replacement. Michael was immediately sympathetic and explained that he was prepared to complete the repair to my satisfaction and it was important for him to be transparent with his findings. He never once pushed a new roof or threatened to not perform the repair because I wouldn't go along with his recommendation. I say this because it has happened to me. Michael clearly wants to right for his customers but also wants to protect the reputation of his employer.
