Recent reviews frequently highlight punctual crews, clean job sites, and steady communication from start to finish. Many customers are satisfied with the look and quality of completed roofs. However, there are multiple reports referencing supplier nonpayment and subsequent lien notices, suggesting homeowners should clarify billing and lien-release processes. Timelines are generally met, though a few experiences describe delays on certain materials.
I recently had my roof replaced and everything went exactly as planned from start to finish. The crew showed up on time, kept the job site clean, and finished the work within the schedule they promised. Communication was clear throughout the process, and any questions I had were answered right away. The new roof looks great and I’m very happy with the quality of the workmanship. I would gladly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and professional roofing contractor
I highly recommend Perfect Choice Roofing for their excellent service, high-quality products, and professional, friendly team. From day one, the process was smooth and well organized.Special thanks to Yvonne Bradley, who led the project from the very beginning and provided consistent follow-up until the job was fully completed. Her professionalism, communication, and attention to detail truly made a difference.Thank you, Perfect Choice Roofing, for an outstanding experience and exceptional services!
Hiring Perfect Choice Roofing was a huge mistake. We paid this company in full for our roof. Months later, we were blindsided when a mechanical lien for around $10,000 was placed on our home because they failed to pay their supplier.Because of their failure to handle their bills, we are now dealing with legal threats, harassment, and the risk of having to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket for work we already paid for. This is not just inconvenient—it’s terrifying for a homeowner. This company’s internal problems become YOUR problem. If they don’t pay their suppliers, the supplier comes after your house, not them. That means you could be forced to pay twice just to clear your title. This is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of professionalism and responsibility.Do NOT use Perfect Choice Roofing unless you’re prepared to deal with liens, legal issues, and financial stress.
BE AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!I hired Perfect Choice Roofing and paid the job in full. While the work was in progress, I received multiple letters from one of their supplier demanding that I pay them directly instead of my contractor. I repeatedly notified Perfect Choice Roofing, and they responded by email assuring me they would handle it and I “didn’t need to worry.”Despite those assurances, the supplier recorded a lien against my home, and on they filed a motion for summary judgment and a foreclosure action. After that, Perfect Choice Roofing stopped being responsive, told me the owner Peter Vargas “can’t talk,” and when I went to their office they wouldn’t open the door.I had to pay his supplier and lawyer costs to save my house. This has been extremely stressful and costly. I do not recommend this company
We began this roofing project in August 2025 after being told that a metal roof would take approximately 4 to 6 weeks from tear-down to full completion. Because we have solar panels, keeping downtime to a minimum was extremely important to us to avoid additional electric costs. The representative, Paul, advised us the company purchases the metal and doesn't start the tear down process until the metal is delivered to them to reduce the time. After signing the contract, we reached out to Paul via text and several calls all of which went unanswered. We finally got ahold of the office and was told he no longer works for the company. We were left asking when our roof was expected to start. The tear-down was completed on August 18th, and I want to be clear that the tear-down crew was exceptional. They covered our pool, cleaned up thoroughly each day, inspected the grounds for any nails, and were professional and careful. At that point, we felt confident we had chosen the right company. We then experienced 5–7 days of heavy rain, and the project was pushed back by one week, which we completely understood. Unfortunately, that one-week delay turned into three months, with the installation phase not restarting until the end of November. When installation finally began, the crew showed up for the first two days — and then disappeared. Then they returned briefly — and disappeared again. During this time, no one from the office proactively contacted us with updates. We repeatedly had to call to ask where the crews were and what was happening in which the office seemed unaware the crew wasn't on site working.A major ongoing issue throughout the rest of the project was poor communication, lack of follow-up, and inconsistent crew attendance. When we were told two crews would be on site, only to have three people show up. When we were told they would be there, several times no one came at all. What should have been a few days of installation ultimately turned into nearly three additional weeks of delays once the install actually started. To make matters worse, the company failed to pay their material company, which resulted in a lien being placed on our home, even though we had already paid in full and in cash. We were told multiple times that the lien would be resolved including that it would be handled before Thanksgiving by the owner, Peter, but it ultimately was not cleared until December 5th.The roof was finally completed this week roughly three and a half months after the teardown — and only after the lien was officially cleared did we submit our final payment. Two other houses in our neighborhood had their metal roofs redone at the same time as ours. Their entire process from tear down to complete install was done within 2 to 3 weeks!!!To be fair:? The tear-down crew was excellent? The finished product does look very goodWe were ultimately given a $500 discount for all of the delays and issues, and that is the only reason this is a 3-star review instead of a 1-star review. While we understand construction can have variables, communication, follow-through, and proper subcontractor payment should never reach this level of frustration. This could have easily been a 5-star experience based on workmanship alone, but the process and lack of communication overshadowed the quality of the final product.Shortcomings dealing with Perfect Choice Roofing:? Communication was extremely poor? Timelines and staffing promises were repeatedly missed? Follow-up was lacking throughout the project? The lien situation should never have happened and caused unnecessary stress
