From the beginning, he was a wonderful communicator and paid such close attention to every detail including an itemized list of everything we agreed upon and when each payment was due, which we appreciated very much.
He and his crew were always on time and even diligently suffered through the extreme heat we had this past week with no complaints.
He is a very hard worker and we commend him on his expertise, professionalism and work ethic.

After getting four different roofing estimates, I decided to go with Jorge Lopez Roofing—and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Jorge is honest, professional, and truly stands out for his excellent communication. He was always punctual, respectful, and attentive. He listened carefully to my questions and concerns and always took the time to explain everything thoroughly—never once coming across as dismissive or condescending.

One thing I really appreciated was that, aside from the initial deposit, Jorge broke down the payments based on the progress of the job. For example, a payment was made when materials were delivered, another after the plywood installation was completed, and another following the inspector’s visit. I thought this was a fair and transparent approach—especially for a large project.

Jorge completely re-roofed our house in SF, and I can recommend him with no reservations. We have a mostly flat roof with a few complicated window and garage sections. We also had some old problems with two skylights that needed some fixing. Jorge was extremely professional and helpful beginning with a thorough inspection and estimate. We discussed ways to fix some issues such as modifying the skylights and adding a new drain from one section to another. Compared to other roofers that gave us estimates, his experience really shone through. He quickly saw what the issues were (including ones other people missed that I am really grateful are now solved and water tight) and had ways to solve them correctly. Even with his work on both skylights and the new drain his quote was very competitive. He worked with one assistant and did an excellent job on the work from beginning to end. It ended up taking slightly longer than expected because we (surprise!) had an extra thick layer of very old tar below the 20+ year old roofing material that Jorge needed to remove before putting on the new layers of roofing material. However, that is not a complaint - it was evidence that he makes sure he does the job correctly, which I appreciate, especially with a roof. Jorge was fantastic throughout, and was able to complete the work both with excellent quality and at the original price. We had no issues and I would hire him again if I had a second roof for him to fix. Highly recommended. Thanks Jorge!

Jorge is such a professional roofer and a kind person. He not only delivers quality work but also communicates with us very efficiently. Most importantly, he keeps his words about time and schedules.
