We went with a different roofing company a few years ago but when a recent hailstorm in our neighborhood hit, we asked J&M to come check out if our (2 year old) roof had any damage. Not only did Matt and Justin come out right away but they gave us an honest answer that there was not any damage but that our roof was not up to code and that the other roofing company had scammed us by charging us for supplies that they never installed/replaced. J&M wasn't trying to "get a job" out of it or anything, I so appreciated them letting me know that I needed to get my warranty work done ASAP... I learned my lesson and next time I'm just calling J&M to come do it right the first time.
Edit: I have proof of it. So nice try. You also didn't show up when we agreed on a time. Then when you did that's what happened. You also changed your price from 20k to 30k as if you thought we had money and its based on how much you can pay. I keep thorough records. I still have your paperwork you gave me as well. So try me. Yeah I had to block him because he wouldn't stop calling me. He doesn't know what No means. ??Guy came out for an estimate I wanted to know how much for the back to be done which was a separate small roof. He got a ladder and was at the front. I told him on the phone that I wouldn't be able to talk and that he could send the estimate via email. That I would be busy and have to leave. He blocked us in and kept trying to talk to us. I had to yell at him. I don't want to do business with someone who doesn't know their front from their back, and can't follow simple directions. He never sent the estimate. I wouldn't do business with again.
Raice was great to work with. Very thorough when going over our roof bid and worked around our schedule. Roof job was complete in a day and looks great. I would recommend this company to others.
Had our house sided by JM construction company. That or they contracted it out? Not sure but we are very happy with our siding. We had one issue as the company was trying to cut a corner when installing by not replacing a rotted piece on paneling and just siding over it but they fixed it once we confronted them about it. Otherwise, good quality materials and fast working putting it up. Clean up was average.
2024- JM just did a second roof for us, the crews worked hard even in the heat! The roof, shutters, and gutters all look great! They did a great job cleaning up the area, even having the guy the next day that picked up the extra materials run the magnet around. We haven't found any nails or debris in the area.2017 -Justin and crew did a great job. Halfway threw the project an unexpected storm blew in quickly, they upgraded my felt for free to a synthetic to protect the house during the storm. The guys were on the roof finishing just as the rain started. The crews were on time and polite the entire project.
