Before signing the contract for a roof replacement, I contacted three roofing companies for estimates. Pfeifer’s estimate was the lowest by a wide margin, but it came with all the guarantees of the other two estimates. That made the decision easy. Once the roofing crew arrived, I knew that I had made a good choice. The roofers were competent, courteous, and professional, and they were meticulous about cleaning up around the house once the job was complete. I was especially impressed by the number of times a Pfeifer inspector came to the house to check the work in progress. The inspector explained that the visits were part of the company’s commitment to maintaining its certifications within the roofing industry. The inspector found a few small issues that needed attention, and the roofers took care of them right away. I’m very happy with how this project turned out.

I selected Pfeiffer Roofing to bid on cleaning our twenty year three tab original roof on our rental dwelling in SE Salem based upon my review of their website content, longevity in business, video, and research on roofing. I am a retired claim adjuster. After their free estimate for cleaning, with photos, I conferred with their estimator, Eric, whose additional input led me to request a replacement estimate which had Owens-Corning at three quality levels and Certainteed Weather Flex class four which I chose after meeting and viewing samples. I was delighted they were able to fit our house in a weather break in a few days and install the roof. The contract had a contingency that if sheathing among other components were found defective as the work began they would replace them with CDX plywood without need for additional authorization. I had hoped the roof sheathing would not have damage from leaks but six sheets needed replacement and I viewed them on site at mid day of the first day. I texted my awareness.
I am delighted with the quality of service and appearance of the roof which has a twenty five year warranty. I highly recommend considering Pfeiffer Roofing.
