When you find yourself in the unhappy place where you have to repair or replace a roof finding a reliable contractor shouldn't be as hard as it is. Sorting the list which is rife with scam outfits, fly by night out of town LLC's who flood the area after a bad weather event, mixed in with legitimate national and local family run operations can be time consuming and frustrating. I live in a townhome community where our HOA comprises 5 units with each unit made up of 4-5 single family dwellings. Built in 2007 many had developed leaks needing repair. At almost 20 years it was time to consider across the board roof replacement rather than paying for expensive and short term band aid fixes. As of today 4 of the 5 separate buildings have been completed with the final one remaining to be done later this year. The intent was to contract with a single roof company to do all the work. What you look for is a company that's established with a verifiable track record, that's reliable, staffed with skilled project managers who listen, and last but NOT least professional, competent installers because you're only as good as the quality of your work. Price is always a major consideration but you live with what you get and you get what you pay for so that's part of the equation. The final cost was based on a contract that included all 5 units, and volume equals better pricing so there we had a clear advantage. That brings me to St. Louis Roofing Company and our unique experience. Since day 1 every expectation has been met or exceeded. The planning and execution of each installation is done with almost military precision. Work starts early and ends late, no wasted steps or time. Watching the crew work is a lesson in how you get a big job on time and on budget. No shortcuts with every detail done to the highest industry standards. The care taken to protect the building exterior and landscaping is above and beyond. All debris is removed and the site is clean at the end of each work day. Interactions with the site foreman and installers is polite and respectful with any concerns addressed in real time as work progresses. I always weigh pro's and con's in any service provider review but at this point can't find a single con worth mentioning. Our HOA business relationship with SLRC will continue on to the next phase, replacing detached garage roofs and that commitment speaks for itself. A great team to work with on our roof replacement-- excellent communication and a really efficient process all around. I received a proposal quickly and everyone I worked with was super responsive with questions I had throughout the process. The crew doing the roof replacement was skilled at working with an older building and were able to navigate issues and communicate them to me in a way I felt confident about. End result looks fabulous and has held up great to heavy spring rainy. Highly recommend.

From design, demolition, to installation and cleanup, the team from St.Louis Roofing Company were professional and knowledgeable.They worked with me on scheduling so we were able to stay open during construction and the job was finished on budget and on time. St. Louis Roofing did a fantastic job on our roof. Located in Kirkwood they gave us a range of quality options, we settled on an architectural shingle with a lot of durability. The hail storm (2024) damaged many roofs in our neighborhood but ours had virtually no damage. Great products and install. What I appreciated most is that they have stayed with us and our on-going renovation project. They ensured new gutters and diverters were installed rapidly and properly after new siding completion and coordinated well with all of our subcontractors. Fantastic staff and company, highly recommend.

These guys handle roofs like absolute pros… but that’s not the best part. I’ve used them for years on many buildings and it’s their communication and ability to jump on any issue immediately and professionally that makes them the best in the area.
