Top notch service! We verified warranty certification/credentials through shingle manufactures and received E Castro's contact info as a referral from the folks who take care of our downspouts and siding needs. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Castro and his crew (including his daughter)! They were very honest, professional and quick to help us replace a very bad roof on a recently purchased older home. Don't waste your money with big names for the same thing!

We obtained opinions and bids from 4 roofing companies. 2 of them are very big names in town that insurance recommended (though we did not have an eligible claim). Mr. Castro has the SAME warranty certifications/credentials (and a wonderful reputation in town and with other contractors) as the big name builders that insurance prefers to use. But his prices are thousands better! I can't even understand why you would pick another roofer with the same warranty just to pay more. Maybe for their fancy vehicle wraps and big offices? Who doesn't like keeping their hard earned money?! We do. Obviously the big names in town work with insurance companies regularly and probably have a you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours things going and get paid sweetly. But in the end, you (the insured) pay for it anyways so save yourself some bucks and pick your own contractor folks! You do have the right to choose your contractor.

To my knowledge, there is only one other roofing company in town with a higher level of certification vs Mr. Castro. We would also recommend that company if budget allowed (they were still cheaper than the big names in town with lower certs!) as they were very professional and taught us a great deal about a good roofing system. But since this was all out of our pocket, we had to let the budget make the decisions. We cannot say enough that if you need a good roof and don't have money to spend on extra frills like us, go with the Castro family and crew. They did a great job with clean up, upgraded some products at my request, included replacing items that others up charged for, handled a decking crisis on the spot and completed our project in one day. I have zero complaints! All praise! Best of all, they gave us peace of mind when it rains now. And we have had some heavy rains! Our biggest purchase is now fully protected for another 30+ years. Emilio has loads of options to choose from so even when you're just filing an insurance claim - you don't have to feel like you are "stuck" with a few choices. Emilio & crew were on-site less than a week after initial quote, despite there being a lot of other homes in the area with damage.
We feel like we were treated like VIP customers & this was both our first experience with a bid/contactor job as well as the first time we've ever made an insurance claim.
Emilio & his team were amazing to work with!! They took great pains to ensure our yard was not destroyed with equipment or debris & they had a LOT of foundation landscaping/garden beds to work around. They were all GREAT with our dogs as well & did an excellent job keeping the yard safe for my furbabies!
